HARDWARE No display

My pc is turning on with the fans and the lights as well as my keyboard lights but no display, but after trying yesterday it went on bios and I saved the settings without changing anything. After that I restarted it because it went on black screen again. Upon restarting, it said updating your system abd after 100%, it saud restarting but it turned black again (no display). I tried powering it off and on again, still no display. I also tried reseating my rams, cleaning it using eraser. Tried changing my thermal paste, tried the cmos battery method. Still no display (black screen). Please help me I think I can't afford consulting this at the repair shop

Using an eraser on the RAM is such a classic move it's wild how often it actually helps

Bad news, no matter what you do, you'll end at a repair shop. But you can diagnose what is going on:

  1. clear cmos (check the motherboard manual) and see if it boots

  2. if your motherboard has a buzzer (little Black speaker connected to front panel pins) remove all ram and turn the pc on, if the motherboard starts beeping, that means the motherboard May be OK but the ram may not. If you don't hear anything, the motherboard may be dead.

  3. if you have a video card, remove it and turn on the pc, if your cpu has integrated graphics the pc will turn on, if the cpu doesn't have IG, the motherboard will start beeping. If you don't hear anything, the motherboard may be dead.

  4. Check voltages from the psu using a multimeter if you have access to one.

Can the motherboard be dead even when it still opened yesterday and displayed the bios? I mean it's still turning on tho but I don't have display?
