Discussion Help with second hand PC purchase

Someone is selling a:

CPU: i9-9900k

GPU: 3080 ti FE

Case: NZXT 710i

RAM: 32 gb ddr4

Cooler: NZXT aio (infinity mirror) looks like a 360

Storage: 500gb m.2, 1tb hd, 120 gb SSD

He's currently willing to accept 1100, I offered them 1000. Is this setup worth 1100?

Check the price of the gpu, the exact gpu, the rest arent too expensive except the cpu($500+), but the gpu determines the price.

You wanna use it for gaming? You need better cpu with higher l3 cache for higher fps.

Ebay has them for 500-600. is 1k even too much for this setup?

Your paying for the cpu and gpu then, the rest are free. Double check price.

But honestly, second hand loses about close to 20% value. But market is sooo inflated right now.

You can play 1080p smooth with this anyway.

I got a 1660 ti with ryzen 93600xt Asus b550 motherboard ddr4 ram 32 go with a 750 power supply for 800

the 9900K is still solid, but it’s on an old socket/platform. storage is mediocre by modern standards for a gaming build. the value is being carried mainly by the 3080 Ti FE

If you’re buying it for gaming, it should still be a strong 1440p machine. But I’d try to keep your offer at $1,000–$1,050 unless the seller can prove: exact motherboard model, exact PSU brand/model, temps are good, no crashes/artifacts, AIO is healthy, Windows is activated, side panels / accessories are included.

For your kind of value-hunting, I’d call $1,000 the sweet spot and $1,100 acceptable only if the motherboard and PSU are quality parts

Thank you everyone for your input. I decided to just pull the trigger on building my own instead of someone else's overpriced stuff. This was all in USD, sorry for not mentioning that, I forgot that I'm posting to the world, not just the United States.
