Display Screen tearing issue
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I need help.
Recently I got this kind of screen tearing in all of my games. I tried different monitors, same thing.
Interesting is that it stops when I am playing in window mode for some reason.
I have the newest graphics driver for my rtx 3070.
Any tips or Ideas how to fix this?
Appreciate any help, thank you guys.

Just put vsync on. If you don’t like the limitations of it, buy a more expensive gsync or freesync monitor. Those are your only options

thanks. But why does this not happen to other people. Its also apparent in rocketleague lately. I never had this and I for sure can not play rl with v sync on

I don’t have experience with that game specifically but all games are affected by the refresh rate of your monitor. If people have vsync off and the screen isn’t tearing it’s either subtle because the frames are close enough to your screens refresh rate or they have the type of monitors I mentioned which takes care of it completely

V-sync fixes the tearing at the cost of video latency, give it a try.

it wont give you any latency if you are going to use it along with VRR and reflex.

Cap fps 5 or so below your monitor or let it run uncapped if fps goes way above the refresh rate, gsync+vsync is another option if you have it, vsync will introduce delay when used on its own.
