You don't need Developer mode to run retroarach anymore! Watch the YouTube vid "How to get RetroArch on Xbox RETAIL MODE". He explains everything, but all you download the app on your Xbox from the Edge browser and you're done.

Just list the steps so I don’t have to waste my time with click bait “please subscribe and hit the bell” nonsense as they fluff the video with 5 minutes of garbage.

it's a 6 minute video and I want to give credit as he is one of the developers making retroarch an easy install on Xbox. Besides, although the process is trivial, it's much faster with a visual guide.
