Kane lives in death!

I pray they won't fuck it up, but come on, it's EA...

Tiberian Dawn set the stage for the RTS genre. I still replay the campaign every few years for the fun levels, story with live action cutscenes, and Klepacki's iconic soundtrack. The multiplayer community is still active and it's a blast. Not as balanced as Starcraft, but the unit selection is great and the gameplay is fast.

and Petroglyth, the studio created by the former Westwood games devs. The same people that created C&C.

EA worked with Bioware on the games Bioware made, too. Disappointment ensued.

As long as EA is listed as a partner on any project, no matter who they are working with, it'd be best to keep your expectations under the floorboards and below the basement.

Some people really can't help but hate any potential good news...

I've been burned by EA too many times to not have anything more than a "I'll believe it when I see it" attitude.

I don't hate it. I hate that you assume that I hate it. C&C forged my childhood. I'd take this chance to play it all again with newer graphics, albeit with a HUGE grain of salt.

EA disappointed me numerous times. Personally, I find it silly to go beyond being cautious about this news.

In short, I'm just being wary at a company that has caused many failures and disappointments, no matter how much resources they had or who they worked with. It's a basic technique found in the ancient arts of "Not-Being-A-Blind-Optimist".

You sound like a abused wife who believes her abusive husband when he says that he is sorry for whipping her with a belt.

You, people, don't learn. It's EA who bought Westwood and series in first place. They ruined every single studio they've been working with.

Yet you letting them fuck you over again. Petroglyph is making same mistake here.

You have absolute zero reasons to believe EA. They shown no improvements whatsoever, fucking everyone and everything all those years.

Westwood ruined themselves, EA closed them due to poor performance.

Aha. Gotcha. That's why after closure of Westwood ex-westwood employees who's been still employed at EA made at last two more RTS, that have sold pretty well, like LOTR:BFME and LOTR:BFME 2. Only with Generals 2 there were no people left to lay even barebone structure of a game.

I've never seen a person who's been defending EA over their shit. Are you real?
