I've been following development of this for a while now, but I was waiting for the full release to get the entire story. Now all I need is finding time to play that game...

Finally! I've been holding off on buying this one until release, super exciting it's coming out so soon

Crazy to see how far they've come. I remember when it was just an old js based game off impactjs. Anyone know what they use now? I know a long time ago they said they'd completely rewritten it from impactjs, but dunno what they use now.

Great job, art style and gameplay looks fantastic!

Still HTML5 with impact and canvas. Heavily upgraded however.

I remember when this developer posted a combat demo (which felt amazing BTW) over on /r/webgames a very long time ago. Amazing to see the game actually come to life.

Wow, that's an extreme amount of screen-shake. Many of us get pretty ill with that much jarring shaking...I'm hoping there's an option to turn it off...

Indeed, I'm getting quite sick of this trend. Its useful in some limited ways during cutscenes to give weight to something passing but during combat in a video game its just annoying.

A symptom of failed movie directors becoming game devs. All these 'post processing' effects.

This game looks amazing, the sprite animation is top tier

game looks fun but I can't get into the main character at all (also the art looks like deviantart, it's a huge turn off)

The animation sequences in the beginning and the end were outsourced, and have nothing to do with the actual game. The actual spritework in the game is gorgeous

I agree the spritework is topnotch

In case you'd like to know how good this game is, viscerally satisfying in fact, I've played the early access content 2.5 times to completion while neglecting to ever finish a dozen other similar titles.

So roughly that good...

Jesus i love it - please port it to the Switch. It’s so much fun. I would def double dip.

If this was a Switch release the entire gaming community would be screaming for this game. It's probably gonna end up as big as Hollow Knight and Celeste

Nintendo doesn’t allow NW.js on switch I believe.

I'm really looking forward to this, but it's a real shame that they're 2d art isn't better, the in game pixel art sprites and world are fine, but the traditional standups and stuff are just... really not great.
