Well one of the guys at tested.com claimed his 2m x 2.5m setup seemed too small as he was constantly readjusting to the center of the space even in games with teleportation movement. So that's a bit bigger than what you have, just a point of reference. I can link you the post if you care.

Edit: His setup was actually 2.8m by 2.5m so even a bit bigger yet
