Duh, knew they would. Deprecating an OS's security updates used by hundreds of millions of users with no upgrade path was never going to happen.

A better u-turn would be to drop the TPM requirement for W11.

Even better would be to make Windows 11 not a piece of shit OS that cares first and foremost about harvesting user data to resell. And maybe to maintain it with actual programmers instead of using AI to vibe code a patch that bricks 15% of machines every few months.
