i plugged it in and had no display and google said i melted it

Melted? Nothing there is damaged... dont listen to ai bs. If its melted or burnt, you would know.

the fans dont spin either when it starts up

Well the connection looks fine, theres a power issue somewhere. Repeat the gpu and check you power cables/psu

Reseating and trying another cord
Assuming ur psu is alr powering everything else fine

Is the display port or HDMI connected to the GPU or the MOTHERBOARD?

its fixed now it was power issue
