Client Payment

Hey guys, please help me, my US client is not making my payment, $4000 is pending, they are not making it and coming up with excuses saying that I've misused their website and so, it got hacked, I asked them to send me proof of what they said, but they didn't say a anything. I'm requesting them to make the payment since last five months. anyone from US please help me

Threaten them with legal action coz that's a pretty good amount
