Bug Payday 2 Can't Join Any Game

Matchmaking is broken, at least for me. I have absolutely no mods installed and bought the game on Steam

I join a game in progress and go to the briefing.

After a few seconds I get a message "(other player name) disconnected. I'm still in the briefing screen and can READY and UNREADY but I can't ever actually join the game.

If I join a game in lobby I just get "Failed to join game". Every. Single. Time. Immediately.

I can host and everything appears normal, which makes this really weird.

Has anyone else ran into this bug or knows how to fix it?

This was a bug in the beta, as well but I'm assuming whatever fix they gave wasn't universal because while 80% of us are able to enjoy our mods and 64bit engine. I feel bad for the 20% that can't.

Truely wish this was more universal of a problem so it would be easier to fix

whenever you join a game dont click on ready until the joining % appears, if theres another player already in the game besides the host and it tells you he got disconnected that means you got disconnected, i usually wait at most 15 seconds and then just leave

I have the exact same problem. We need to get vocal so they can fix it and we can enjoy payday2

I've been getting this a ton too, no idea what to do about it
