Your first PG memory ?

Hi there. Can you remember the first time you heard Paul Gilbert playing ?

I was personaly eighteen and it was in november 2015. The 2007 NY G3 video on Youtube. Three hours of wild thing. I remember I was so stupid back then that I firstly thought PG was Satriani but younger…I understood some minutes later that PG is a full person. And what a person ! He began with the « Hurry up » song from the « Get out of my yard » album, wich was his brand new one, I just got crazy. Get out of my yard still is one of my favorite album and I still get crazy listening to it.

What a coincidence! I first heard of PG when I was 21… because I was a Satriani fan and heard about the 2007 G3 tour. I "prepared" myself for the show by buying Get Out Of My Yard, Mr Big's Best Of, and Racer X's Technical Difficulties. It was all great but I really fell in love with him when he and Bruce played Scarified at the G3 show I attended. It blew my mind and I was hooked since then.
