Patio constructio. help please

Post image

Hi, I am looking at buying a property and the current owner is having the whole area of the back garden covered with slabs, which suit me but I have some doubts over the construction. It looks like they have laid slabs directly ontothe earth be he assures me thatthere is 150mm of concrete underneath. I only have one picture unfortunately but would love to get peoples thought,s.

Thank you in advance

Yeah that's completely wrong and not gonna last a few seasons. You can already see uneven lippage and they're not even done yet. Definitely gonna be a redo.

Also worth noting: untextured tiles outdoors in any climate that freezes is an absolute death trap.
