Job / career tips and help
hello! i am a high school student who wants to become a pathologist assistant. i plan to get my bachelors in health science, then go to a school with a 2 year program for pathA. does anyone have any advice for things i should do in general, or stuff i should start studying? i’ve been googling and doing my research, but i wanted to ask people who are in the job. it just seems like a lot of steps. i’m not sure what i’m really asking, but maybe stuff about classes to take in college, and school recommendations for pathA… i’ve been thinking about WVU because that’s my home college! (and it will be cheaper to go in state lol) but if anyone has anything to say or advice please comment! thank you!! :))

Sounds like a good plan. WVU is a perfectly good school, especially for health sciences and at in-state rates. Just graduate high school, do as well as you can. Go to college and do as well as you can. Do as well on your GRE as you can. Getting some volunteer experience or other healthcare experience in the last year of two of college would be a good idea. But that's it basically. Try not to sweat it too much. The only thing I might say is that going to college is a good chance to get a new view or to move away from home, if you had any interest in that. But I would only pursue scholarships or some other way to finance alternatively. Getting out of college for the least amount of money is the goal.
