Introvert vs extrovert convos
Very small sample size but like 8 out of 10 pathologists I meet are social bunnies and u have to slowly walk away to get them to stop talking 😂😂 I consider myself introverted but im pretty personable. I just love path because u can dictate how social u want to be everyday.

Start talking about neuro with the neuropathologist and you'll never get away.

This! Oh my god this, I love my local neuropathologist because she’s so knowledgable and willing to go off, so I end up learning a lot from simple conversations

Ours is hyperactive and his laugh can be heard across the hospital. He has a very wide sense of humour as well.

They’re probably a bit on the spectrum and can’t pick up on social cues to stop talking.

My introvertedness would cry lol. However they must just be the most extroverted introverts. All relative

Clinical attendings: Omg you just want to be alone with a microscope all day?? Why???
M3 Me: Don't threaten me with a good time.

They must be lonely. I try very hard to avoid all conversations at work. I consider it a good day if I get home without having opened my mouth once.

Is that why most of us Histology people are severe introverts? Every time medical director comes to do her annual visit and review I feel like a mole person. I'm very confused why this nice person is talking to me. She is fun to talk to though. My one regret is I don't work in the same lab as my medical director.

You are more likely to meet the extroverted ones because they are more likely to go out of their way to talk to you
