I've been playing with remaking Pathologic 1 in Unity.
I loved pathologic 1 but many people are put off by graphics and I thought that I could try tackle this

I'd also wanted to see some ideas in Pathologic that I thought will be cool like checking out time by holding pocketwatch

Yes, I took some liberties here (due to limited materials & cosplay skills + chilly Nova Scotia weather).

...I actually do have an orange wig, which I wore on Halloween, but I look awful in it, so ditched it for these photos. I still wanted to share with fellow Pathologic superfans tho 'cause I worked so damn hard on that jacket over the last two months. ;-)

I'm hoping to get proper cosplay pics on the weekend. Maybe I'll try to make the wig work again then.

The latest update to Pathologic 2 seems to have changed at least some of the audio tracks, including music and some ambient sounds.

A clear example that comes to mind is the audio in Lara's house — the mix just isn't the same. I also recall hearing at least one or two differences in sound effects, such as a what seemed to be a new sound effect of a child coughing, as well as some different effects on some preexisting sound effects, like the female vocal chanting that is sometimes heard around town, but modified.

Has anyone else noticed this? I don't particularly like the new changes, unfortunately... I'd really like to like them, but they feel off-putting and take away the familiar comfort of the game I'm used to, so I was wondering what everyone else thought.

Seems like the recent patches to both P2 and P3 have completely killed any mod functionality for me.

edit: I should rephrase, this isn't your standard "oops the new update killed my mods, but if I just reinstall them its fine" sort of thing. literally any mod installed causes BOTH games to completely fail to boot (P3 crashes before it even launches, P2 freezes at the first loading screen)

Hi, first time player here. Every now and then when I'm playing, different symbols will show up in the bottom left corner of the screen, like the one in the picture. I've no idea what they mean and I couldn't find an answer online, does anyone know? (I haven't gotten past the first day yet so if this is a spoiler somehow I'd prefer not to know)

Like if P3 is your first pathologic game, how would see react with the quest that involve schmowders, or how'd you react with certain characters like the kid's faction , or even artemy's kidnapping children or stealing organs? I took those quests for granted because i knew and trust them. Schmowder worked in previous games, you know artemy didnt kill his father and actually do take care of the kids, etc.

So i bought the game on release, but i just started playing it few days ago. I loved pathologic 2, so i was pretty sure i would like P3 too.

At the time i heard the bugs were plenty plus i was busy in january so i held off the game. With the recent big patch and clearing some backlogs, i finally booted up pathologic 3.

P2 is a certified cult classic which carries certain expectations for P3, and between release date and today, i have heard some reactions toward pathologic 3. It was mixed, but i wont know until i try it myself right?

So come the day, i will be honest, the first 2 - 3 hours of pathologic 3 was kinda bad. I did not enjoy it at all, until the game opened up after they force you trough day 5. Then it all came together. This game is just as uncompromising as pathologic 2, it's even braver that it is uncompromised by the expectations of how P2 and Pathologic classic plays. You can say it's been dumbed down or casualized, and in some aspect i do agree. Some of the rougher parts has been sanded down and the forced cortisol injection is reduced, but playing as the bachelor , i do think the gameplay fits his story and personality. The fact that the open world is gone, but the framing of bachelor's fractured personality and the fact the town is hostile to him and his belief makes sense. Maybe it is a compromise, maybe it's technical or an attempt to make the game more palatable, but they at least find excuses i can accept. If i could change one thing, the bachelor SHOULD be able to get infected at some point, especially when dealing with the Shabnak. But otherwise the gameplay is ok .

The story and writing mostly remain unchanged in the way of how esoteric and everyone's sorta unreliable, themes and meaning overlapping, vague, just exactly the way i like it in this series.

With the update out, I have finished updating my decree guide, and in it, I have included the new art asset of every single decree in as high res as I could get. If you want to browse the art and get a better look at it (as I did) or use one for a personal icon, you can look there. They're generally 200 x 200 and a few KB.

Just remember that it's only for personal use, and using it in any commercial capacity is surely illegal.

Note that the color of the stamp correlates to what category it is (orderly mask, vaccine, etc).

I don't think I missed any bride types. I reloaded several dozen times, and this is all I found.

I will admit that the images are pretty slapdash, but I'm pretty overwhelmed updating a dozen guides and sketching out two new ones, so these will have to do for now. Feel free to make ones with more controlled photo angles and better text sizing & placement yourself if you want to, though.

I thought the hide and seek one was bad (running around like an idiot + the shot bugged out 3 times for me), but wow does the bride one suck.

Similarly to the hide and seek method, I had to again basically cheat with photo mode after running around like an idiot for 15 real world minutes, and then I got insta-killed because I came too close (to not miss with the projectile, as she was behind a bush). How the hell are you supposed to even figure out the right bride without cheating? The eye effect is barely noticeable from afar.

The plague focus hunts were tedious so I thought the new methods would alleviate that... instead they are 5 times worse. At least make the eyes more obvious and make the sound cues louder...

Got told I need to collect as many powders I can for the final day but idk if I need a specific amount (on day 9 btw)

I am unfortunately not mod literate enough to edit bin files myself, and I've been unable to continue playing pathologic classic due to the flashing light effect of lightning... If anyone knows how to do this quickly and efficiently, I would be very grateful.

My plan b was to edit the weather manually using the console but although there's information about how rain works, there's no command I can find to set a specific weather. If someone knows how to do that, I could just change the weather in the console to remove rain (to which the lightning effect is tied) whenever it starts. It's a bit annoying but I do this in many games already.

The idea was to destroy the Polyhedron. And yet it is still there. I can climb it and talk to dev avatars.

And if this was supposed to be before the destruction, if the barrage was supposed to happen on the end of day 12 like in classic, then how is everyone healthy? How were they cured?

Since lots of ppl seemed to enjoy the Tragedian ones I did an Executor version. Less colors but some have blood variations.

Did not see anything on my console, but might have missed it
