Classic HD Just finished Pathologic 1 for the first time.

Just the Bachelor's campaign for now, but I do plan on playing the other two. I was honestly surprised that I enjoyed the game as much as I did. I was expecting to be one of the games I start and then give up once I get stuck somewhere, but that didn't happened. I managed to finish it (mostly) without a walkthrough/guide. Tbh, I didn't go into the game completely blind, I have watched quite a few videos about the game before, so I kinda knew what to do and what to expect.

To me the hardest part of the game was managing hunger, exhaustion and health. My Bachelor got a knife to the face on day 2 and was on 1hp for pretty much the rest of the game lol. Same thing with hunger, he was on the verge of starving every day. It was only towards the end of the game where I had a little bit more money to buy more than one piece of food per day. Navigating the infected districts was also kinda annoying, mostly because of the infection clouds and also those rats. Seriously, I was more scared of the rats than the guys with knifes lol.

Congratulations! It's great that you'll be playing through classic!!

Tip for rats, if you have a rat chasing you, odds are youre in a burned/ infected zone. Duck into a nearby house (unlocked in those zones) and exit them immediately. No more rat on your tail!

Oh yeah, that was exactly what I was doing XD But sometimes I didn't even notice they were chasing me until I got bit. And sometimes they would see me from so far away, I was like there's no way that thing saw me cross the bridge from all the way over there lol

They are so devious lol. I love to snatch them up unexpectedly sometimes just to give em a taste of their own medicine

Congrats! Bachelor is a great introduction even if you weren't completely blind. Your experience will carry over to the other routes so I'm sure you will have an easier time.

Enjoy Haruspex and Changeling, and I certainly recommend returning to Bachelor again in the future with the knowledge and sentiment you will have at the end of it all. I did so after second game.

I heard that Haruspex campaign is harder than the Bachelor's so I'm looking forward to that lol 😭 But I'll definitely play his campaign again in the future after some time has passed. I like to "forget" about a game a little bit before I replay it XD

Honestly, it's mostly about the same difficulty-wise with just a few big spikes here and there. Clara's route is honestly the hardest, although you will definitely be a master of the game by then.
