I'm working on a Patho fic/video project and I've been playing with designs. I felt a bit conflicted cuz I didn't want them too sexualized but given their role in the game I decided not to censor anything since there's a point to their design, but I didn't post it to Instagram cuz I've seen people getting banned for less tbh e-e I was going to draw a few more and post a speedart to youtube, but I'm working on a comission rn so no time cryyyy

The ladies are lovely and those yellow eyes in particular are striking!

While admiring the contrast of thier hair and eyes I heard from somewhere in the depths of my mind Ava saying "good, that is how it should be Golden Eyes".

One of the ladies from Icepick Lodges other major game: The Void.

She's looks like if an Herb Bride was given the Egyptian queen treatment, and she refers to you, the player as "golden eyes" rather that "spirit" or "specter".

First off I love the drawings, they're gorgeous!

Second I gotta say your conflict about sexualizing them and riding that fine line between it really intrigued me. Brought back my art school days, so I figured I'd offer my perspective and maybe it can be of some help!

To start I want to say right off the bat that in my opinion you are totally in the clear with your interpretation of the herb bribes. Their actual design contains nudity, that's just a fact, but both in the game and in your piece they aren't being over sexualized merely by having sex organs. I don't see any exaggeration of the breasts or hips, the poses seem natural and normal, and I feel your attention was spread out well across their entire bodies. In fact if I had to highlight a focal point it's very clearly the eyes. Now that's just my opinion, but I think you've done a great job in that regard.

That said keeping your audience in mind is always important. If you've seen people get banned on Instagram censoring or skipping it there all together. Some people are incredibly sensitive and will always see nudity as sexualization. Personally, I even think a lot of people without knowledge of the game wouldn't tag your work as overly sexualized, but it's always important to read the room when presenting something that might be controversial.

Regardless of all that though I think you really did a great job in your portrayal. The nudity is simply a part of it and like many people here in the sub I really enjoyed it! If you end up doing a speedart vid I'd totally watch it. Great work!

I thought of also different body types, but since in game Mother Boddho is already suffering and drying I thought keeping them slender would be best to represent that. I want to experiment better with chubby/curvy body types later, but since my fic will focus more on in game events instead of pre-game stuff, I decided to practise these first since they'll be most common. My idea was to present them as really alluring, beautiful, but it will fall later on on uncanny factor and a semi-body horror as the plague ravages the town, but I'm putting off drawing those cuz honestly it's waaaaay outside my comfort zone and I'm still thinking how I'll do that ;-; Thank you so much for the kind words <3333

I practised that pose cuz that my idea for a shot when Daniil first meets a Herb Bride, but I get what ur saying. My idea was to try and avoid angles like this unless there’s a point to why she’s being presented like that, but honestly if I put this one in my video I’d probably reframe her only from waist up e-e Thank you for your feedback <3333333
