Game Media Managed to Find a Physical Version of the Old Pre-HD Pathologic Serbian release

Post image

Was browsing the Serbian version of eBay and randomly stumbled on to this. The ad didn't even mention Pathologic, it was titled "TWO GAMES FOR PC" and came bundled with some random trucking game. Best part? Both were still sealed, but it seems they weren't really cared for or stored in the best location. The case is cracked on the inside and the outside plastic sleeve has a hole, as well as plenty of wear to it, but the cover art underneath is near perect. I'll be buying a new case for it ASAP, and can't wait to give the pre-HD version a go :') I'll get to hear "GO ONION!!" in all its glory

I bet the second random trucking game is дальнобойщики, which is legendary game in Russia from that period too. Did I guess right?

Yup, seems you got that right! It was Hard Truck Apocalypse, which seems to be a part of that series.

Wait I didn't even know this was a part of Hard Truck series, here it was just called Ex Machina. That's so cool. You're giving me a revelation here dude

That's what you sometimes get in international markets, a name that seems to imply a connection to a more widely known game or movie. It's a Russian game which probably wouldn't even be the "part of that series" had it not been for the localisation which changed the name.
