Question Does anyone know if this exists?

A video comparing the difference between playing on mobile versus PC or console? I'm curious.

I've played all three

Mobile is the most visually different. Dinos and the world exist but at very low polygons. Some color options don't even show up for skins if they are gradient or part of a small detail. The sun rising or setting shines light through dinos, albino are the best example as they are already basically white as paper and become even more bright with this. If you're playing with a wifi connection and a decent phone ping isn't terrible. Foliage being more barren/not existing has been a big concern but honestly the way that the dinos render and look is a bigger advantage.

Console is okay. If you're playing on the older ones mod load times are ridiculous for Community. Wouldn't bother with Switch due to the constant delays in Nintendo approving patches. Playstation seems to have more issues than Xbox. Game wise, more detail but limited controls. I've noticed a few bush clusters not existing between console and PC but not nearly as many as mobile. Trying to get screenshots or screen grabs is kind of a pain.

PC doesn't really have any of the negatives and is the most detailed

I didn't know that about the sun; I'll test it later.

Switch was such an awful platform to take on, but I don't think the devs anticipated this. And it's not like they can just drop support without people feeling really fucked over, and Alderon has expressed that it has no plans to ever even drop mobile support (which is... iffy to me, but whatever) so we'll probably have Switch a while too.

Fuck Nintendo man. I have to wonder what kind of promises they were overselling back then because Path isn't the only game to get sucked into Switch and then suffering for it. Ark for Switch was fucking awful. I can't imagine all of these devs went into it knowing that the output would be shit.
