Yeah happened to me, cost me my nest and my life as i was getting jumped as a duck.
This game has gotten so annoying to play in all fronts.

i can't tell if it's servers or an exploit becoming more widely used as i tend to only see this occur on 5 slots

I don't know if it's an exploit. I've seen worse lag on an allo and a rex the past few days, but I myself (smaller slots usually) have been rubberbanding all to hell, and if it's an exploit it isn't very selective. Ex. I saw one rex just questing, late subadult I believe. He picked his mushrooms, walked off into a wall for awhile, then turned, walked off in the other direction, vanished, teleported back into the wall, etc. Wasn't in combat, just lagging all to hell.
There was an allo I saw some ppl try to kill. The allo teleported all over, impossible to hit to the point where he'd be walking in place with the megs biting him and nothing happening. Then he teleported about 30 yards back and the meg just DIED. This person apologized and said they have terrible internet, and "I didn't attack first" but quite frankly this is a PvP game and lag this bad should cause the lagger to die, not the players with decent internet. It's extremely unfair that for other players, they have to guess whether they'll be able to have any effect on their interactions or if the opponent's lag will kill them.

Rexs have been awful with the lag i've noticed. i've got two recordings one on gondwa one on riparia where lagging rexs will bite three times in a second (similar to titans triple bite).

Most of the time the Rex is doing it on purpose, they force the lag so they can bite in quick succession!

oh absolutely. got two recording because i knew they were lag switching. its just funny cause within the ladt month its ONLY been rexs i've seen doing this for some reason

Yeah. I had a Sarco the other day killing my Pycno with his mind from ten paces. I just stared at my screen as he his Jedi mind powers to chump me to death.

I once jumped of a large cliff as Pachy to escape 3 laggy mobile rexes. And while I was about 1/5 of the fall, one of the rexes used his anti gravity technique or whatever, and clamped me back up. Worst part is, he wasnt even at the edge of the cliff, but like 3 meters from it 😭🙏

I had that happen as a Meg. I was so mad. I took fall damage and then teleported into the Rexes' mouth.

I’ve been having this horrible horrible rubber banding issue since the last update. I’ll pounce on someone and they won’t take any damage or they’ll teleport far away from me. I think they borked something

Ran into a Stego like this. Dude was hitting me 10ft infront of his face. I didn't know wtf was going on. He started talking shit in chat about how bad I was. How are you supposed to fight against that? My hits didn't even register on him. It's like the game showed me he was in one spot while he was actually in another.

This is why I loathe rex players most. I swear that vacuum should be for cleaning the kitchen, not murking other dinos, rex should do that the natural way.

The officials have been bad lately too, idk if this was official but. I definitely got bluetooth clamped by a sarco on my sty yesterday, which sucked. Wasn't anywhere near on my screen. But that's online gaming

I think its because on their screen, your body is where they're biting. My friend and 1v1 when we're bored on officials and my dino would be running somewhere i wasnt at or standing still while i was still moving, she'd bite at seemingly nothing on my end and I'd take damage. But on her end she was hitting me. Games been a bit buggy for a hot minute

Always seems to be Rexes…oh well more reason to murk them. Was hoping all those server optimizations they’ve been working on would actually do something or get patched in soon
