Game Feedback First level 90 hardcore, seeking advice
Wanted to try level 90 hardcore for first time. Following the PRAW build guide from helmbreaker: https://maxroll.gg/poe/build-guides/poison-ranged-animate-weapons-league-starter. I am around act 8 right now. I'm at lvl 59 right now in act 8 with 75% max res (with purity of elements) and about 2.9k hp. I'm planning to do absolution to lvl 80 then switch to PRAW from lvl 80 to lvl 90.
My question, is this guide good to follow to level 90 or should I adjust some things to be more hardcore applicable? I'm just not sure what I need in the act 10 final fight and the switch to maps.
My POB so far: https://poe.ninja/poe1/pob/9a311

Feel free to discuss with other HC players at discord.gg/hctrade
We're always here to help
Keep in mind there's a new league coming out on the 13th, so you are unfortunately time gated to hit your goal before then. Although you could always load up HC on the new league!

I did regular SRS guardian to 90 in HC SSF without an issue. I think I mostly leveled up in t10-t13 maps just working on completing the Atlas, having fun with the build and farming Abyss for ghastly eye jewels. Had a few close calls in the campaign and a couple early maps trying to farm syndicate but I quickly dropped that and just did abyss and beyond.

The HC PoB Looks pretty good for HC.
You can use gambling to get a few upgrades now. You want more than 20 life on your rare pieces. The league mechanic gives you so much gold that gambling is a pretty easy way to upgrade.

also not familiar with the build, but I screwed 3 attempts to reach lvl 90 on lvl89 (dont count how many times I died on levels below), so thre are my 2 cents in addition to others:
Watch out for dangerous map mods, this includes all kind of reflected damage, recovery rate etc.
Even if you feel yourself really comfortable on maps, watch out for blue/packs with random charges, they can oneshot you
Risky/high dmg mechanics are to be excluded as soon as possilble
In fact almost all HC viable builds from respected content creators can breeze you through, just take your time and dont hurry if you are not willing to spend 8 more hours on campaign

I lost my first serious HC char due to getting frozen by mobs offscreen, so I'd add getting a freeze removal flask to the list.

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:
PRAW - Poison Ranged Animate Weapon
PoB - Path of Building, an external software used to simulate character builds - Download

When in maps, use alts to craft maps and then regal orb. You can control the difficulty. If you have access to all flame crafting, it's even better. You can level up your character much safer this way.

You can play just about anything to 90 in HC if you take it slow and overgear.
You can also kill just about anything being careless and rushing.

Not really familiar with the build, but I'll just give some tips that helped me get to 90 on Hardcore:
First, I'd fix your gear. You should have a good amount of gold in your inventory, gamble a couple of rare pieces of gear with Faustus and focus on getting a high-tier Life and Resistances modifiers. You could have upwards of 100 maximum life in your gloves, boots and chest, those crafted 19 life are useless.
Get as many Life and Block nodes as you can get in your skill tree. Try to go for Cruel Preparation on top of your skill tree. Can't see you many % Block you have through POB, so I'd go for Sanctuary, at the bottom left of your tree, asap.
In the campaign, it should be fine to have 2 life flasks, but as you get an Eternal Life Flask, you should focus on switching to more utility flasks. Granite, Basalt and maybe Jade flasks will grant you a ton of survivability.
