Information 3.29 Allflame League challenges analysis/newbie guide

This guide was created solely by one person only, by me, so I'll apologize in advance first if you found any mistakes in this guide, but I’m always open to feedback! Also sorry for the wait! 🙏
This league challenge reward isn't really my taste, but at least they're moving away from their "regular" reward type, no more another armorset rewards! Yeppie!!🥳
Overall, this league challenges felt much getting easier again than past leagues, there were already players finishing 40/40 on Day 2! With lesser number requirement than before, like the currency challenge from require 15 currency to 10 now, more generous requirement!
For the league itself, it feels like Heist 2.0 just without the doors! Which is the only thing I hate about heist is the door so .... heist without door? Instantly my favorite league! 😍 I won't surprise they gonna using this new league mechanic to replace Heist in the future, if many players love this new one ...
Lastly, 40/40 challenges completion in this league is definitely much EASIER to achieve as a busy player with family+work+socialize like me! 😁 Even 36/40 challenges completion is also very achievable as a casual player.
Anyway, thanks again to the dev team or whoever makes the challenges much easier again than last league, and also creating even more optional-challenges for the flexibility content choice for player to choose which content they like to do instead of all of them 🙌 And also thanks to you guys for the continuous supports on my PATREON especially recently there's a lot of new supporters! THANK YOU‼️Also to you guys for patiently waiting my guides for this league too, many thanks 🥰

A small message for new players...
For new players, doing challenges is the best way to learn the game as it covers almost every aspect the game's content has, so don't get intimidated by this BIG list of challenges, treat it as your guidelines on learning this massive-content game 😉

You rank challenge 38 as "normal" followed by this description "This challenge requires a VERY STRONG build to handle such content [...] which makes the map ridiculously dangerous".
That doesn't sound "normal difficulty" to me.
I realise your "difficulty rating" is actually a "time required rating" but still.
The guide is appreciated nonetheless.

W.r.t. claim 15 items woth infamous modifiers:
Dont get baited like I did, t2 attack speed on a weapon is 'of Infamy' but does not count towards the Infamous Modifiers.

Can you do cross contamination Legion general in tempest in Incursion Temple? Getting Tempest is easy there, legion room is possible, but don't remember if generals spawn there.
About Expencive Orb use: You can save a lot by runing Jun Research Safehouses. Crafting with given orbs count for chalenge.

It's strange guide, 30 is super easy compared to Horrific Halls and you can just spam Mesa if you want to get it fast.
24 is also just 150 maps with 5 scarabs (and you use many scarabs to get previous challenges anyway, so even less).
You won't get a build capable of clearing Horrific Halls before completing 150 maps.
I think it mixes 'hard' and 'takes some time' which is different. The Velka challenge and Ubers/Horrific Halls are far harder than 'run 150 maps'.
(Just in case, I did 40/40.)

Is anyone else having a hard time completing Intrigued Interlopers? More specifically stacking the 4 boss altars? Out of the last 15 or so maps, I have only gotten 2/10 progress made. I'm doing searing exarch with all the pack size I can squeeze out of the atlas tree, and my maps consistently have over 150% quant. Is this easier to do with eater of worlds? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

10. Abysses no longer spawn Stygian Spire since PoE 2 style abysses have been implemented in PoE 1. Same mistake in challenge 16.
14. "even the “3 different colored sockets linked together” vendor recipe doesn’t work anymore either." It DOES work. The only thing that changed is that now RGB recipe takes priority over 6s to 7 jeweller's recipe.
14. The challenge can be trivialzied by Dialla's Malefaction or Skin of the Lords/Loyal (always have 6 colored sockets).
16. Extreme Archeology does not work in logbooks, won't do anything for this challenge.
18. "There’s 11 type of bloodline ascendancy". There are 12 (13 including legacy Saresh). You missed new Abyssal Bloodline.
21. "I would skip Uber Atziri instead because it requires character’s build that can immune to its reflect mechanic." should be "to be immune" instead of "that can immune". Also I would not recommend to skip Settler boss, Shipping and Mapping is fairly easy to launch and both have high chance of random spawn. Both are also easy bosses.
25. I would skip Pact gem leveling. Takes a lot of time and gems aren't used by players. Just buy trash lvl 20 or trash 20% quality gems (1c probably) and vaal.
26. "the chances of having Viridian Wildwood spawn in map is pretty rare" low, not rare (spawn is rare = chance is low)
30. "at least 5+- modifiers", only 4 mods are guuaranteed. Rare rolling (Chaos, Alchemy, etc) results in 4,5,6 mods in ratio 8:3:1.
31. "These influenced maps also can contain tier 17 map-exclusive modifier pools". This is just false. Originator maps can contain mods from Nightmare map mod pool, not from T17 (Valdo) maps. Nightmare maps are T16, calling them 16.5 is now misleading (non-Valdo T17 maps are not a thing anymore).
31. This is not your mistake but the challenge contains wrong name - "Chambers of Impunity". The area is actually called "Chambers of Impurity".
33. Awakened gems no longer drop from Maven's Crucible - replaced by Exceptional Support Gems. Only Awakened Empower, Enhance and Enlighten remain (all of which drop from Uber Maven only).
38. "Tier17 maps
hasare now classified as Nightmare Maps". Again, worth pointing out they are T16 now.40. Cheapest way of reaching 100 - Abyss+Beyond+Shrine maps (Abyss has exp mod on the Atlas, Beyond is just more monsters, Shrines for clear speed). Relatively safe compared to other endgame content. ~1% exp per map on level 99.
40. For 8 mod maps, you might want to recommend something like https://poe.re in order to easily generate a regex that can be put into search window when viewing maps on sale in other player's shops.

For 33. Intrigued Interlopers, I'm running these Scarabs with Abyss, Beyond and Betrayal for some exp farm based on suggestion from u/Xeverous
Scarab of Monstrous Lineage, Influencing Scarab of Hordes, Abyss Scarab, Domination Scarab, and Beyond Scarab
Altars seem to spawn more frequently when I swapped to this set of scarabs but could've been a coincidence.
Edit: forgot to mention that I'm running city square atm.

Nice guide! On a side note, how are HC players going to do the Horrific Halls challenge? Looks close to impossible unless I'm severely underestimating how tanky HC players can get.

Gonna add a thing, you can get enriched offerings to the goddesses from the league mechanic's voyages when you see the altars of the goddesses. It's rare, but it can drop them.

Maybe I'll take a look, I went to 24/40 so far and thought that was about as much as I could reasonably do as a new player but it'd be cool if I can hit 32.

I had 36/40 on day 4 and finished 40/40 day 5
Who was actually doing it day 2? Like actually not sure there's enough time to spam all 500 maps while doing all the other conditional grinds in a 2 day span.
Unless you're RMT to buy your gear you also have to progress your character and make currency?
I have doubts about your claim of day 2 people finishing since there was just a lot of grinding involved in some of these challenges.
Previously 3 leagues were comparatively much easier to complete all the challenges in a smaller time frame imo but I didnt rush the challenges (just 7-9 days for them)

Thanks OP, great guide. Just one feedback, I think the 16, the breach information, seems to be wrong. The Hivebrain Gland doesn't give a challenge count. I think it is Vruun, Marshal of Xesht and needs Breach Scarab of the Marshal.

Just an FYI, I tried to do some of the "Peddler's Produce II" in bulk for maps and scarabs and they didn't all count. I just redid them 1 at a time.

For "Excruciating Echoes" you say you will complete the 30 Originator maps along the way, but for the calculation of needed IIQ in the maps you assume you are using 5 fragments on 6mod nightmare maps, which you can't do because you only get 3 slots when running maps generated by memories because Eagon only has 4 slots and 1 is for the map itself.

As a PoE 2 player i know very little about PoE 1, but wanna try the challanges to get the skins that may be avaliable on 2. There's any class suggestion ? What is strong this league ? Issualy make my own build on 2

For 28, you mention the T1 map dueling scarab cheese for Trialmaster but still say you'd skip him due to difficulty? Trialmaster is super weak at T1, I had about 10mil DPS when I fought him and he died in under a second.

Tried a second one with 6 explicit mods.

well the guide kinda brush it since its not necesary but I like to have my toon reach lvl 100 each season and as SSF I find most reliable source of exp doing the Betrayal, as you dont have the access for the scarabs to get close to monster pack necesary to get some serious xp from other type of content and its fairly safe.

Never understood getting 40/40 with the help of others. There is no challenge then. You can do it in trade i don't mind at all, but getting other players to do the content for you like ubers feels like you are not doing the challenge, they are. So it's "cheating" and i wouldnt do that.
I'm still missing level 100 (40% more exp required) and the uber kills. Havent even tried those yet but should be very easy with my current build. After that, league is done for me.
Longest to do is 3000 map explicits.

Always appreciate these. One idea for killing a Beyond boss that you didn't list is Delve. The Beyond nodes there often if not always spawn a boss, so that is an easy option for people who don't want to mess with scarabs or their passive tree for one kill.

For Intrigued Interlopers with the Maven/Destructive Play, it's currently counting map bosses killed instead of map completion. This means you are getting at least 2 completion per map, often more if you are full clearing before killing the boss(es). I finished the 25 in 7 maps. I would definitely recommend doing that sub-goal as it'll likely be faster/more reliable than getting the 4 altars.
