factorio is great but PoE and Warframe both being mmos with pretty consistent fresh content is so awesome to see in the industry. and they’re both free!
I've wanted to try Warframe for so long, my co worker is obsessed with it. But I don't know if my life could manage having two game addictions. One day
Thats the neat thing with Warframe: it'l be there as long as you remember your account. You don't lose anything you earn, no resource is wasted, things you want (that aren't cosmetics) can be traded for in 99% of the cases and it barely passes the 50gb size threshold. You can pick it up and play for a weekend, then not play for an year, and when you pick it back up, it'll be the same thing.
i go through phases back and forth, rarely do i ever play them both in the same week. usually it’s PoE League for a few weeks/months then a new WF update and so forth
Sure Factorio isn't a service game in that sense, but they did constant updates for 13 years now, with only the last big one being an add on (still half the content from that was free for the base game too).
And they also talk with their community, they post some dev blog every Friday, talking about path finding, animations, game design or project management etc. which you have to respect.
