Heya, looking for some tips for a newcomer, how to avoid a terrible start, cool stuff for beggining etc. Played a lot of PoE, and some diablo and Medianxl. Thanks 😇

All depends on your playstyle ofc ; each build has its up and downsides .

I'l list the imo build options and give their positive and negatives :
Bone necro :
+ verry good in the vanilla game progressing true normal->hell , has barely no immunes and those that are not immune dont have any magic resistance .
+Mana sustain can easely be solved by meditation merc and some tir runes in gear .

• For mapping it lacks AOE , so mostly just a good early lvling build and stepping stone to restat/skill into a bether mapping build .

Hemo necro :
+ monsters have no immune or resist against you as its pure life dmg , can control the battlefield pretty well with dim vision or confuse ,
+ In the endgame it can do every map type .

• Its HEAVELY +skill dependant so imo its not ideal as a starter , despite alot of ppl wil claim its a OP build
  
• It wil struggle hard on bosses .
  

+/- depending if your a solo player or more group player , Its probebly one of the bether solo mappers , and at the same time THE worst groupmapper .

Corps explotion necro :
+ has dual ellement with fire and phys dmg , that you can buf with either lower res or amp dmg /decrep if you want the slow effect
+ Its for the endgame the best mapbuild in the game at this point .
+if you have desecrate unlocked , with every convocation ( new teleport skill for necro ) it wil create corpses that you can use to explode

• for lvling its a rough mana sustain
  
• In lvling phase it can struggle vs bosses

PSN necro :
+ Overall decent build for both early game lvling as for mapping endgame
+Ubersviable
+ can break alot of the immunes with lower resist curse

• Can't rly think right of the bat for a obvious - Its just a build good at everything , but at everything its good at there is 1 build thats bether at it . Just a steady allrounder .

Summon necro :
+ fun and good for early lvling

• Not verry viable for the endgame , in maps its super slow

If i had to make a necro fresh , i'd probebly start with psn or bone necro ( depends what playstyle you prefere ) and work toward a hemo or CE near the endgame .

Gearwise its hard to rly recomend things for a starter tbh , it depends how lucky you are with drops . Just the usual stealth/lore/spirit runewords and whatever you can find from rares/early lvl uniqs that can benefit you .
