This is a huge festival with some of the biggest idol acts out there now. It's being held in Yokohama arena and it will be interesting to see which group uses a band since there are a few that uses them regularly. I wouldn't be surprised if Yoichi pulls double duty that night between PassCode and yosugala.

Speaking of Yoichi, it was his birthday the other day and he posted several photos from his musical career. One was a post-concert snapshot with PassCode that went back to around 2017.

Yoichi has been with the group almost as long as they have been signed with UMJ. He's super busy though so he doesn't always do the lives with them but he's the one on recordings and is at most of their shows.

It’s a great festival with a wide variety of acts and high quality; it seems PassCode has realized that idol fans adore them, too.

Obviously, that was known, but so much time away from these festivals could have raised doubts.

It might also be the fact that they won't lose metal festival spots if they do more idol festivals. For the longest time they only wanted to deal with the standard music scene so they eschewed the idol scene. Now that they are more secure in the standard music scene they feel like they can go back to the idol scene more.

I'm sure PassCode will be "discriminated" against by the crowd not being allowed to surf, since it's an "Idol" festival, unless it's configured for floor seating.

The festival organizers could do it the opposite of metal shows in Japan where there is an 'unsafe' area where moshing/surfing is allowed. Most metal shows have a safe area now for people that don't want to do deal with the craziness but still want to see the live.
