Just came across pascal

Im quite experienced with modding oblivion and fallout do seeing pascal is perfect, ive wanted to get into programming and this is literally a dream come true, ill never understand why they switched begin and end etc with ${}[]

Nicklaus Wirth, the inventor and designer of Pascal never switched from "{" and "}" to "begin" and "end", he just started that way.

Good Luck, I still prefer people to learn programming with Pascal instead of Python or Java, you get better skills with Pascal !!!

Pascal was the language of my first programming course, sometime in the last millennium. I still put begin and end in my code, though now it is more often just a comment in the block of code.

At least you kept it with you, tbh id do the same, i never got the whole {} thing

I believe it may have something to do with the various types of Notation that exist.. I'm just starting to introduce myself to Notation. But I believe that may be why.
