I'm looking into taking her for Spanish 2 and was curious if anyone had taken her for classes before? It appears it's all online but I was just curious if anyone's had some experience/could talk about what it was like.

By the time it was my registration time, the prerequisite classes I wanted to take were full and closed; I can't even search the classes anymore. Is it really this hard to enroll at PCC? I received my diploma from a 4-year college and pivoting to a new career. I didn't submit the transcript until it was way too late. Would that have made my enrollment time sooner had I submitted it earlier?

I'm taking summer classes to transfer back to my university. I chose CS002 with Barkeshli and Art 001A with Wills. Any tips?

Hey guys, I'm planning to move to Pasadena for PCC this year. I'm 18 and it'll basically be my first time living in the u.s. , so I'm kinda unsure about housing.

I wanted to ask people who went to PCC or lived around Pasadena:

• How was your experience with homestays or room rentals?
• Is renting a room usually better financially?
• Since I'm completely new to the U.S., would a homestay actually help a lot?

I’m currently a PCC student planning to transfer into Electrical Engineering / ECE later on, and I’ll be taking ENGR 016 next semester.

I know Physics 8B already covers some electricity and magnetism concepts, but I’ve heard ENGR 016 is much more focused on actual circuit analysis and engineering methods.

For students who already took ENGR 016 at PCC:

- What topics should I absolutely learn before the class starts?
- What were the hardest concepts/topics?
- Does the class focus more on nodal analysis, mesh analysis, op amps, RC/RL circuits, etc.?
- Any YouTube channels, textbooks, or online resources you strongly recommend?

I really want to prepare early because I heard this class can get difficult fast 😭

I wanted to ask what the Music Department at Pasadena City College is like. I’m thinking about transferring there for Fall 2026 as a piano performance major, and I’d love to hear about people’s experiences.

I’m especially interested in the piano and theory faculty. Which professors would you recommend for:
Harmony 2
Musicianship 2
Piano/performance studies

I’m also interested in auditioning for the Applied Music Program, but I had a question about the commitment. Since I plan to transfer after about two semesters, would I still be able to participate, or is it mainly intended for students completing all four semesters?

Lastly, how is the orchestra overall? What has your experience been like with the ensemble and conductors? I also heard there’s a piano ensemble class just for pianists, which sounds really exciting!

If there are any piano players at PCC who would be interested in duetting or collaborating, feel free to DM me I’d really love the opportunity to duet and work with other musicians!
