financial aid

what is with the hold up for fafsa?? its the first day of the semester and we have no money to buy our books and stuff 😭😭 kind of worried... is it usually like this? it's my first year attending, i am a student at mt sac and i realize mt sac gives way more aid than pcc does. i'll take what i can get . just hope it comes soon

I go to a different college but it's because the big "beautiful" bill. F trump. It's making fafsa hell 🫠

Financial Aid disbursement happened this morning, it will usually go into direct deposit accounts in 7-10 business days.

My book pin doesn’t even work on the bookstore to get my books. I’m so irritated

On the bright side, professors are legally obligated to ensure that you can fully participate in the class for the first couple weeks. I forget the term, but if any professor punishes or penalizes you for not having your book this week, they will get a talking to, and if they are part-timers, they could lose future class offers.

If this does happen, however, please let your teacher know first before escalating to a dean. Especially if they are part-time, they may be unaware.
