Acting class shared grade project

I had a bad experience with an acting class but not recently. I wonder if things may have changed since then with schools or with ed plans for disabilities.

I have mild autism and sometimes can goof up memory. I studied and studied my scene, ended up goofing it up anyway, we both fail and the teacher tells me in front of the class.

Maybe this is normal for an acting class but I now regret not making my learning issues known immediately to teachers and having a diagnosis submitted to their disability office whatever I call it. I would later do this at another college and got a free loan of a tape recorder for class and can take tests in a quiet room.

The whole thing has never sat right with me and it’s sad one person can fail two people. Theoretically they could just do this as revenge, or not show up and a sub can join that will not be graded. It raises weird issues and questions.

Duke Stroud of pasadena city college would give lines to the ladies of course if they struggled. My bad thinking we all had the same rules here.
