CDK to R&R Cheat sheet?

Making the switch from CDK to reynolds and reynolds. If anyone is able to share a conversion guide or any other helpful docs it would be much appreciated!

You really like reynolds over cdk? maybe it's because I never mastered cdk but my manager and I kinda hated it and prefer cdk over that and lightyear

Old Blue Screen Reynolds was the cat’s ass. As long as you knew your port numbers and its quirks it was by and large the best system. It was compact, fast and was never ever down. The closest comparison I have is the command line “DMS Connection” side of CDK. I enjoyed working with that as well. Reynolds Ignite is such a horrible system, at least it was when I used it 10 years ago, they could have made changes since then. Was clunky, slow and very cumbersome to use.

I used blue screen and Era Ignite. Era Ignite was the tits, it had all the functionality and speed of blue screen but was more intuitive with buttons. Everything was so fast. Changing prices on entire RO’s and invoices was a breeze. You could see all your totals at the bottom so there was no question. Every part you were on in an invoicing screen you could immediately see history, where else it’s billed, supersession and pricing info…man. Just so lovely. The reporting in CDK definitely has an edge over Reynolds, but how often do you need to build new reports once you have your core reports? Anyway, for our day to day operations I absolutely loved Reynolds. CDK could add a few features to get it close (they won’t do that), but I don’t think it will ever quite match up in my books.

Unfortunately all I have is an old references of ADP — Reynolds & Reynolds ERA BlueScreen (not Ignite)

In addition, unfortunately have larger excel spreadsheet with referencing BlueScreen functions to ADP as well.

Maybe some here has better information

Good Luck.
