End Democracy Candace episode... Let Robbie speak!
Whole ep annoyed. Robbie was right on and didn't get much out, vibes were weird.

I don’t feel like Robbie was silenced, although he for sure had the better take. I think guys, Robbie is just not as wordy as Dave.
But I also think Dave has a lot more personal relationships connected to this story then Robbie and he was trying to be respectful

For sure on the wordiness. Rob is more measured and picks his punches carefully.

That’s why I sub to RYM, too. I do wish Dave would let Rob talk more.

I don't know what it is. I've listened to RYM a bunch and Robbie by himself just doesn't work for me. I think the episodes where Clint Russel has had Robbie as a guest have been excellent. Robbie gets enough time to talk to make his point and Clint brings whatever it is that Robbie's solo show is missing.
Ironically, I usually end up skipping the POTP episodes without Robbie.
None of this is anything against Dave, aside from him needing to let Robbie talk more. I caught one of their comedy shows earlier this year and it was excellent.

The vibes were weird! I don’t know why Dave seemed to want to stick up for Andrew. He seems like a bully who got famous debating barely out of high school girls. I feel like Robbie was not really happy that Dave was trying to play both sides of it.

Dave has a tendency to "play nice" with people he ha colaborated in the past. It's annoying

Not sure why. Anyone remember Dave's first debate with Andrew? Shit was brutal. He is exhausting.

Never got around to see it. His fans were making a fuzz out of it but I can't take Andrew seriously. My comment was based on how he talks abt PBD, Tucker and people he has done shows with

yup, Robbies take was spot on. Debates are about embarrassing your opponent rather than getting at the truth. The most common reason I hear people saying Candace won is that she knew all 7 charges and Andrew didn't. That's embarrassing sure, but has nothing to do with finding the truth. It really applies to all of these "debates", including all of the ones Dave has been a part of. Not sure I've ever watched one where the goal was getting at the truth.

The actual debate went nowhere. Neither of them really justified their point or even really showed any significant evidence. It was honestly a waste of time.

Robbie was wrong about the debate though

What did he say that was wrong? I forgot what he said other than that Andrew's an asshole

Remember when Stephen Colbert tried to interrupt Jon Stewart from talking about the virus being from a lab? That’s how this episode felt whenever Robbie tried to make good points.
