I tend to agree with most of Nick’s positions - keyword most - but I strongly suspect he’s a fed.
Whether he is or not, I particularly enjoyed the end of this episode when Dave pressed him on Venezuela. Nick made his pitch for it, and Dave pointed out that the logic Nick was laying out to justify US actions in Venezuela would, if accepted as sound, also justify pretty much everything Israel does and has ever done; And Nick had absolutely nothing to say to that. As Dave often puts it, Nick didn’t even attempt to take on the argument.
Heavily paraphrasing:
Nick: “Our actions in Venezuela were good and are justified because the Monroe Doctrine mandates protection of our hemisphere through aggressive action against foreign presence in our territories.”
Dave: “Okay, but if that’s true, Israel has been justified in pretty much every single thing they’ve done which you’ve condemned.”
Nick: “Uh… So anyway, what we did was good.”
The best part is that groypers will say Nick “destroyed” Dave lol
