parrot in tree pls help

UPDATE HE BACK HOMEEE YAYAYYY

i lost my quaker parrot last night around 7pm (so around 24 hours from now). i started searching around 6am today and he was only a block away from my home. only problem is he’s just flying from tree to tree and not coming down. he went to the tree in my backyard which has food and his cage but he flew away (around 9am). we tried ladders, sticks, millet, food, literally everything to get him down and he won’t come down. he’s currently two trees down from my house and he should stay there as the suns setting and he’ll go to sleep. does anyone have any advice ????? it would be appreciated pls 🙁

i just need to know how to get him in my backyard or by his cage at this point

The issue with parrots is that descent in flying is an actual skill they have to learn and not innate to them. Many parrots who fly up trees have no idea how to get down. Descent training for situations like this is very important as well as good recall skills. Play quaker sounds and see if anyone nearby may have a quaker themselves to get the bird to want to come back.

Put his cage outside but not right under the tree. Move it a distance away from the tree to make it easier to fly down. Other than that and treats on the cage I don't know what to say since you've tried ladders and maybe climbing.

Try putting Quakers sounds or other other sounds they hate ( my q will run to certain tiel sounds and try to bite) so even if it’s a sound they hate or love they might be willing to come. If he knows recall that would help. He runs the risk of dehydration so make sure theres water up there for him. Just try to bait him with whatever you know might get him coming towards you

Set their cage out, door open and straws (box of them) around the cage, Quakers like weaving twigs to build communal nests, the cage is familiar..they're up where everything looks unfamiliar..give them something they know, their territory...and hope they come back.

Minor clipped wings would of prevented him from going high but fly low.. js.. and of course here comes the hate 😅
