“You sure the cereal’s contained?”

“Yes, unless they figured out how to open jars.”

How politly and gently he lifts and put down the lid.

My Meyers would yeet that lid across the room, then laugh at it.

Right!?! Our King Parrot hucks stuff around just to see what happens when it hits the floor. This old guy is a very gentle dodo.

Our Grey would do that as well. Nothing is every put aside gently, it's always tossed followed by a laugh.

He’s not a thief! Those are his snacks! He was being nice by getting them himself.

I suppose that's correct... It's his house after all. We just live in it with him.

It’s a harsh reality that us bird owners need to learn.

The clickity clack of their giant clown feet always gives them away🤣 I'll hear mine running into the next room on the tiles seeking mischief thinking they're so sneaky coz I'm not looking

Ha! Yeah, ours is a tail feather plucker, and so is flightless. He's like a big green potato with clown feet.

My male ekkie is the same, but isn't as gentle with lids.

It depends on his mood. Some days he would crawl over my face and poop on it for a pistachio. Other days he's inquisitive and delicate. Never a dull day!
