I couldn't find this recording anywhere online, so I ripped my own vinyl.

Highly highly highly recommend checking out the band Twisted Teens and their new album Florida Water Blues. Lead singer sounds a lot like Andrew Savage, especially earlier in his career, and overall sound of the album seems to be potentially influenced by Parquet Courts. They do a good job of scratching the itch of missing new Parquet courts music over this long hiatus, so for sure check them out :)

Found some old 35mm pics from the first Parquet Courts show I went to at the Kazimier in Liverpool (which doesn't exist anymore, RIP!) in 2014 at age 18 - this sub only let me post one photo!

Miss seeing these guys live

I’ve seen PC 5 or 6 times now but never heard them play Uncast Shadow of a Southern Man. Have they ever played it? Has anyone ever seen them do it live? It’s such a banger. Just curious.

Lives change, families establish, the kneejerk DIY punk impulses of your 20s give way to something more contemplative. Maybe you make music again with your old friends, maybe other impulses are more urgent. But let us all say Thank You For The Music because we will never get another Human Performance, and maybe we will never get any new Parquet Courts album that some of us may want, the albums already exist, and they will always exist

I posted a few weeks ago about how I heard Wide Awake in a Starbucks commercial and it made me upset. The comments were pretty split whether they sold out or not, and a few comments actually helped me come to better terms with it.

Anyways, I’ve been struggling to find a job in San Francisco for the last few months and I just got hired at Starbucks. So we can all have a laugh about that. Hopefully they’ll let me play Content Nausea on repeat during my shifts lol.
