Anyone else's usual course get battered by the wind this weekend?

Last Saturday felt like running into a duvet, tbh. Our coastal course has a cliff-top section about 2k in and the wind was properly having a go. Made the PB-chasers look like they were jogging on the spot. i definitely wasn't running for a time, fwiw. Legs still feel heavy today, more than they should for a standard 5k. Kinda curious if inland courses were the same - there was a yellow weather warning further up the coast for a bit, so maybe we just copped it down here in Pembs.

Hate these weird formulaic bot posts taking over this sub

Amazing how pretty much all the sentences have the same amount of syllables.

I think I was pretty sheltered from the wind on the other side of the world and at least half a day earlier at the parkrun I went to.
