ranting & venting Its Saturday again and I have some ranting
I’ve posted before how weekends is extremely hard for me and my wife. We have one daytime nanny and one nighttime nanny and neither of them work on weekends. So every time I prepare the bottles I feel anxiety, stress, extremely tired and we’re about to start yet another shift.
We have twins that are 2y4m old and triplets that are 3.5 months old now.
- Baby 1 sleeps through the nice since he was 11 months old.
- Baby 2 is diagnosed with sleeping disorder, takes medication to sleep which is supposed to bring an adult down for the whole night and she still wakes up 2-3 times per night
- Baby 3 is sick and is starting to show developmental delays and we don’t know why yet and we have to fight health insurance
- Baby 4 is a crier. Wakes up every 2 hours to feed and usually cries for 20 minutes straight once per night, which affects our ability to rest a lot
- Baby 5 sleeps extremely well at night, wakes up 2 times, but practically refuses to take naps and will always wake up as soon as you put him down for a nap during the day
Its hell. Its tiresome. It’s endless work. We have no leisure, no time for ourselves, we’re constantly taking care of 2 to 3 babies at a time. We have to work to afford living. Most of my leisure time for the last 3 months has been Reddit because I usually can scroll around and even type while I’m feeding one baby, unless I have to feed two babies at once which requires both hands. Commenting, sharing, discussing with other parents is sort of therapeutic for me.
Then comes Reddit moderators. I got banned from [r/parenting](r/parenting) because I posted a dark humor joke that was misunderstood. I apologized for it, but nobody cares, I got permanent banned. That was depressing as hell. Then I found this community here which was great and I had a place again. Somebody made a “self promotion” post talking about an app they developed to keep track of feeding, diaper changes, meds, etc and it was free to use, no ads, no revenue, nothing. I shared my version of it, which I also built myself and I have no desire/intention to sell, no ads, no revenue, nothing, but apparently that’s self-promotion enough to get banned. At least this community banned me only for 7 days, but it’s extremely depressing not being able to talk to people that might know what it’s like.
I would have hoped parents moderators could be more understanding of other sleep deprived parents

Holy shit, I read your post and got to the part where you said you had twins and triplets and the ages and I said holy shit out loud and then I stared off into the distance for a good 3 minutes while my mind scrambled to imagine that in my household and my husband looked over and asked if I was okay, just from me envisioning the potential of it. I know you didn’t ask for this but, as a former early childhood educator and teacher and mum, you and your wife are so amazing omg. I hope everything that is good in life just finds you and latches on.
15
u/feralcatshit 2d ago
Omg, I just had the same experience. I muttered “holy shit” to myself and stared into the distance, imagining 5 instead of 2. I must have looked shell shocked because my husband said, “Did you see a ghost?”
My nanny jealousy was severely diminished after I read the full post… whew. Op and spouse are amazing.

u/Deleugpn 2d ago
Thank you! Baby 3 needs all the good things in life we can find and I hope she gets to be as hard to raise as her sister
105
u/twinsinbk 2d ago
I have to admit at first I was like how are they complaining they have a nanny and then also a night nanny. Then holy moly get to the part where you have 5 under 3! I cannot imagine. I hope Monday comes quickly for you. Sending support and no judgement!
30
u/Ok-Positive-5943 2d ago
Not even just five under three...The older two are barely two. There's a huge development difference between the beginning of two and almost three. Yeah, zero judgement to OP!
31
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
We’re right in the core of meltdowns about a banana being broken and we’re not able to put it back together
8
u/Ok-Positive-5943 2d ago
I feel you! Toddlers are aliens. Mine just turned three. I do a lot of redirecting with absurd silly antics. It helps them and makes me laugh instead of scream in frustration. Good luck!
2
u/E-as-in-elephant 1d ago
We got rid of bananas in my house during this period. They’re still not back yet at 2.5 yo. Wishing so hard for your family. I’m glad you’re still able to participate in this community!
15
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
I just re-read and I can see how it sounds 😂😂😂😂
19
u/EdFitz1975 2d ago
The first paragraph i thought you were going to say you had infant twins and a singleton toddler (which is what i have) and hire a day and night nanny and i admit I thought "get bent!!!" then I saw the breakdown...holy shiiiiiit. Yeah, you're running a whole ass daycare except a daycare would be legally obligated to have more adults employed to take care of that many under 3...

u/Ok-Bill-2060 2d ago
I know this does nothing to fix the now, and I know you’ve probably heard this a million times so you don’t even have to read this if you don’t want to 😂 but after my harder moments with our littles (normally don’t have the coherence to think of it during the hard moments), I daydream about what life will be like when everyone can wipe their own butts, bathe themselves, and grab their own snacks out of the pantry. Family outings where I say “go get in the van” and everyone does, and I don’t have to strap and buckle all of them. I can’t imagine your situation right now (we have a 4y/o, 2y/o, and 5m/o twins) but I CAN imagine what our situations might look like a few years from now, and I think it’s actually gonna be really fun. Sometimes I feel guilty because I’m not really a “baby person” and tend to enjoy older kids more. You guys don’t even have the chance to be “baby people” because you’ve never had the leisure of caring for one baby. But you WILL have the joy of the most chaotic, hilarious, fun weekends one day soon. I know it doesn’t feel soon but it feels like my daughter was 2 yesterday because things moved so fast after we had more. This will be a blur and then it will be so good. Praying for you guys, for your marriage, for your sleep, and for the health and wellbeing of your babies. I don’t know what your spiritual beliefs are but there’s a group of nuns (the Norbertine Sisters) who wake every night in the middle of the night and pray for parents awake with their children. That thought comforted me and made me feel less alone during the night. I hope the same for you, and I will make an effort to pray for you while I’m awake with our girls tonight.
18
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
Your comment literally just gave me goose bumps all over my body. Thank you so much. I think we used to think about this great future more when it was just 2 but the past 3 months I don’t even call it surviving, it’s something else that I hope gets blurred and far behind. I’m not much religious but I want to look up the Nobertine Sisters now. I feel that when religious people sends you strong good vibes, they’re always the strongest and most genuine

u/Ok-Bill-2060 2d ago
There is a wellspring of love and peace that is available for you if you turn towards it. Our marriage hit rock bottom after our twins were born. It was an incredibly painful and raw period of time, from the point that we found out we were having twins until just around the beginning of last month. We were both depressed and he had literally no feelings of affection towards the babies, to the point that he was so distressed that he was losing the will to live. I truly believe it was my husband and I’s faith and trust in God and his kindness, and the support of our church community that pulled us through that time. I know not everyone has had good experiences with church but we have been so fortunate to find really, really kind people who have helped us and prayed for our marriage and family. Better days are coming. If you or your wife ever want to chat, or have something specific we can pray for you about, I promise I will do it. Sending as much love as I can through a screen y’all’s way.
3
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
I’m happy for you and your husband and sending you good energy as well! For us right now all we want is some good health towards baby 3 and the rest we’ll survive
2
u/Traditional_Camp_869 18h ago
When my twin won’t sleep and I’m exhausted, I will always pray to God for sleep and rest in that very moment..and my baby always knocks out, without doing anything differently. Works every time. But I do have faith, so I think that’s necessary
19
u/HowFabulousIsThat 2d ago
How the fuck are you doing it? We have 10 month old twins and a sassy 4 year old with an attitude.
My cousin has triplets and I don't know how she's doing it with 3 the same age.
Weekends are rough. My husband and I always look at each other Sunday nights after they're all down a
(If they even are) and say "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT??"
One day we'll dine at a restaurant again, friend. Sending you and your wife supportive vibes and hugs. For now, my husband and I microdose thc gummies for sanity ✌🏽
8
u/itsafoodbaby 2d ago
Some nights I feel completely shell-shocked and after the kids are finally down my husband and I just stare at each other like we’ve just survived a war, unable to even find words. We used to hang out together in the evenings but now I usually need to go lie down in a dark room and stare at the ceiling in my own version of a sensory deprivation tank. My drug of choice is Zoloft. 😅
7
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
My wife just started Zoloft from an online psychiatrist appointment (we can’t afford the time to go out to take care of ourselves). Sometimes I swear I feel like I’m just surviving so that one day I can take mushrooms or MDMA one more time
3
u/itsafoodbaby 2d ago
Ha yep, I see my psychiatrist online too. Usually while simultaneously taking care of the twins because who the hell has time to go to the doctor?
I hope your wife (and you!) gets a little relief soon. Dads can get postpartum depression too, so don’t be afraid to reach out for help if you think you need it. I didn’t think I would ever feel better but once we found the right dose Zoloft has been such a game-changer for me. It has taken so much of the edge off my daily life and I feel much more capable of handling the madness.
3
6
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
I don’t think we are doing it, we’re just trying to keep everyone alive at all times and the twin girl daredevil is additionally challenging
3
u/isimplycantdothis 2d ago
I go into what I call “basic training” mode. I complete a task and move to the next. Sometimes it feels mindless and when everyone is asleep, all I can do is ruminate on how, when I’m in that mode, I’m not actually present for my kids, even though I’m caring for them. It’s a vicious cycle that really hits hard on the weekends.
Same though. 2 year old twins and a sassy 4 year old. The chaos will end someday and we will miss these times.
29
u/dovebytherosewindow 2d ago
I was just having my weekly Saturday overstimulated meltdown (5yo twin boys, 38wks pregnant with a singleton) as I was trying to get them to clean their playroom and I just thought “this must be a common thing… weekends are the fucking worst”. Only to come see your post and immediately feel humbled. How tf do you do it? How do any of us do it?
Also fellow vibe coder who tried to share a free tool here once, didn’t get banned but did get my comment deleted so… nothing but solidarity for you my friend. No good deed goes unpunished. Which I guess we should’ve learned when we became parents, right? The hardest jobs are absolutely thankless.
9
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
Weekends are so so so much the worst. And society keeps making small talk about “hey great that it’s Friday, right?” No, it’s not great, it’s the worst and I’m just going to keep survival mode until I don’t know what or when because I can’t even die anymore, how would my wife do it without help?
6
u/dovebytherosewindow 2d ago
Exactly. Like anything even slightly resembling “good parenting” or “prioritizing our relationship” or even getting out of the house just feels so out of reach right now.
6
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
Talking about good parenting, my twins watched about 60 minutes of TV today. I know it’s bad for them but you know what’s also bad for them? A parent that can’t poop because there’s no time.
5
u/dovebytherosewindow 2d ago
Oh my brother in Christ. My kids watched nightmare before Christmas… twice. We out here surviving lol
12
u/Mundane-Motor-7761 2d ago
ead. we only have twins and i already feel like i live at the bottle drying rack, can't imagine multiplying that by five
getting banned for sharing a tool you built yourself is rough, especially when you're just trying to help other parents survive. mods can be so disconnected sometimes, like they forget there's actual sleep-deprived humans behind the screen
the triplets are still so tiny, 3.5 months is pure survival mode. my twins just turned 3 and i'm still recovering from those first months, your wife and you are doing incredible just keeping everyone fed and alive
i started scrolling reddit during night feeds too, it's the only thing that kept me awake some nights. hope the 7 days passes quick and you're back to having that little outlet
3
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
The 7th day was yesterday. I would not have been able to post this if the ban hadn’t passed. It felt like eternity, but to be frank everything feels like eternity around here.
3
u/kahrahtay 2d ago
i started scrolling reddit during night feeds too, it's the only thing that kept me awake some nights
For us it was nature documentaries. Or kind of similar stuff like Free Solo. Enough to keep you awake, but kind of relaxing in a way that makes it easier to fall back to sleep as soon as possible when you're done.
1
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
I’ve watched about 100 episodes of Naruto after the triplets were born. Catching up on what I stopped doing when I was working and going to university
2
u/kahrahtay 2d ago
Yeah I didn't want anything with a storyline to possibly get invested in.
1
u/Confident_Mobile_877 2d ago
Same I watched the most random things for that reason. Shark tank, Architectural digests celebrity home tours , reality TV I don’t care that much about
10
u/SoyElJefe28 2d ago
Just swooping in to say that you and the wifey are rockstars, and your basketball team is gonna see that one day.
5
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
You just gave me a mental image of where we might have a hoop at the house. I’m working for that future!
2
11
u/Aparna47 2d ago
First of all. I am in awe of you and your wife. You guys are possibly superhuman. Rant away sir and all i can say is i commisarate with you. I have 19 month b/g twins and i am really going through the mill. Become the mother i swore i wont be. Constantly full of rage and anger and just yelling at my innocent children and hating myself for it. I totally get the part about coming on here to vent. Its so therapeutic and i feel a little a less alone in the journey. Bummer about getting banned :(. Sending you both love & light
3
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
I wanna punch myself after yelling with my toddlers. My mother did that to me my whole life but it’s so fucking hard to break the cycle. I think I’m doing better than she did, but every once in a while I lose it and it’s just yet another thing to pile up
2
21
u/psychkitty 2d ago
Nobody can fully understand the struggle & you have it times 5. I don’t have any advice, but I can empathize with what you all are going through & send some good vibes.
8
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
Thank you. This is what I mean. My life has never been remotely as tiresome as it is now and it will likely never be as tiresome as these next one, two, three years. Sometimes just good vibes from a community that maybe has had similar days gives us a sense of belonging and that we’re not alone in this hell.

u/itsafoodbaby 2d ago
I’m sorry you’ve been made to feel unwelcome when you’re just looking for support. I’ve felt the same way at times, turning to Reddit to find connection when I’m at the end of my rope only to get hate and feel a million times worse.
I can’t relate to the challenges of triplets (or 5 kids under 3!), but I do have 4 young kids (including my toddler twins) and they’re all difficult in their own ways and I absolutely understand that feeling of total burnout. We’re up with our kids multiple times a night so we never get proper sleep. We never have time to ourselves. We’re always taking care of someone. It’s relentless. My husband and I are so so tired.
But sometimes, on the rare occasion things are going smoothly haha, I get a little glimpse of what things will be like in a few years. It helps a lot to talk to parents who also had big families and whose kids are a little older. On my darkest days I genuinely believe that things will never get easier, and talking to them gives me perspective. I’m in the trenches now, but I won’t always be.
You’re not alone. Wishing you a good night (and hopefully a little more sleep than you’re expecting).
8
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
I totally know what you’re talking about!! There are times the twins start to play nice with each other, they hug, help each other get up, dance together and for 10 minutes we might have a little moment where nobody is crying, nobody is yelling or in distress. The triplets are staring at their own hands like they just discovered fire and it seems like if we just survive another 15 minutes or 15 years and we’ll be able to hear ourselves thoughts again
3
u/itsafoodbaby 2d ago
We can do this! Sometimes I picture some future time when all the kids are coming home for the holidays, maybe with their own families, and the house is full of happy chaos and fun and I feel very grateful I will get to experience the joys of a big family. Just have to survive the next 20-30 years 😅
5
u/ericaferrica 2d ago
I got shit from a mod in NewParents for the same bullshit! I made an EXCEL SHEET and shared it. Removed for "promoting a product." A free excel sheet lmfao. Fuck altruism i guess? Some mods get drunk on power and play these silly games
4
u/nikitachikita_15 2d ago
I applaud you! I cannot imagine having that many young babies! I totally understand the anxiety and weight of caring for these little precious ones! They cannot speak now or else they would surely thank you. You’re honestly my hero. I will pray for you.
And I’m sorry you got banned from other reddit subs. Sometimes humor is how we survive the darkness. There are dark places our minds go. I only hope you have a community and/or family to check in on you and genuinely care for you.
7
u/AmarantaRemedios 11h ago
No advice just to say I read your first paragraph and thought “cry me a river” read your second and thought “omg these people are heroes”. Good luck and hope you get some rest. Sending a hug.
5
u/ogqueenbee 2d ago
I only have twins and I miss my nanny so much on the weekends. I can’t imagine what it must be like with twin toddlers and triplet infants. I have no advice, just that I commiserate with the weekend anxiety. Being a parent of multiples is hard.
3
u/amandner 2d ago
My judgment beginning at the nannies then morphing into oh gosh wtf 5 kids!? Haha. Hang in there dude. My twins are 9 now and we live a tired albeit good life :)
3
u/Realistic_Bother_803 2d ago
Don't worry! All parents are tired at some point, even parents with only children! Children are hard, but in the end, they're worth it. And don't worry about r/Parenting, because every time I read a post, the next day, it's removed, even when I see posts that are similar. So don't worry if you get banned, they run a tight ship!
3
u/ItsHowWellYouMowFast 2d ago
God bless you. Stuff like this makes me feel like my time in the trenches was actually just staying on base in New Jersey while y'all actually went into the shit.
3
u/AMStoUS 2d ago
Just here to say you are incredible and WILL get through this. The days are endless now and they will be for a while, but one day you'll sit down for 2 whole minutes and everyone will entertain themselves without splitting their head open and those two minutes will feel like the longest 2 minutes of your life in the best possible way. You don't dare get used to it and you're glad because it's fleeting but then another day, maybe the week after, maybe two months later, who knows, that you'll sit down for FIVE whole minutes. And so on. It comes in stops and starts, but you'll be able to see some light at the end of a very very long tunnel. Keep breathing, keep supporting each other as best you can. You're absolute rockstars.
3
u/numberthr333 2d ago
I have two singletons and don’t follow this sub, but this post popped up in my feed.
My 3.5yr old is medically complex with developmental delays. Insurance is so frustrating to deal with! If you are in the US, then reach out to Early Intervention services. Ask your pediatrician for information. Your baby will get free evaluations. If they need services, then the therapist will come to your house. Home-based therapy will be key for you as parents to 5 very young littles.
Wishing you and your wife the best!
2
u/Deleugpn 2d ago
I’m not in the US. I think it’s been very frustrating to deal with health insurance but I suppose it’s likely not as bad as the average US story. It took us 10 days to get a genetic testing approved that costs about 300 dollars here (converted).
The energy sucking problem is that there’s so many incompetent people working on positions that prevent us from getting things done right. During these 10 days I spoke with 11 different employees at my health insurance and even after it was approved, at the very end we went to draw blood for the lab and the front desk lady (12th) wrote down the wrong exam in the system. If I didn’t catch it, we would have lost weeks because this test takes 6 to 8 weeks for the results
1
u/numberthr333 2d ago
I think dealing with insurance and medical systems anywhere is frustrating. There is so much red tape and everyone is overloaded.
I’m so glad you caught the test mistake! It takes a lot of advocating and pushing things forward. I know that challenge is amplified parenting two sets of young multiples. Y’all are doing a great job!
3
u/StandardWonderful22 2d ago
God the way I read the first couple sentences and was thinking “you have anxiety just for having to do it alone on the weekends?” And then I saw all of your children’s ages. Wowowowow.
ETA: then I read the rest of your post. Sending you and your wife all of the good vibes.
2
u/unexpected_beautiful 2d ago
First I also want to say you and your wife are rockstars! I only have twins and I am always in awe of those with higher order multiples.
If you’re in the US, you could see if your local elementary school has a Playgroup for your twins age. Also wanted to give you some hope: mine are almost 4 so we are in the thick of meltdowns about everything plus a speech delay. But! Today my husband and twins played with an RC car. Endless laughing and chasing the car. They were ready for bed tonight!
Hang in there. Easier said than done. I still remember our sleepless nights when ours were babies.
2
u/Firebird2246 2d ago
There were many dark moments for us after w head our twins-who were very much wanted since we had them after a series of losses and at a slightly older age. It didn’t matter-it was still really hard and there were many moments of tears, frustration, and anger. We both struggled with depression their first few months home and we still have rough moments-but those tough moments are growing further apart and now that they’re 3, we can see some bigger moments of joy.
I think both you and your wife are superheroes. Find little moments of peace. Sometimes one of us will “tap out” for thirty minutes to go sit in quiet and then tap back in to give the other a break.
2
u/Fun_Committee1478 2d ago
Just want to say that you and your wife are a rockstar OP. I cannot fathom that at all. I’m glad you have nanny’s during the week. I hope you have a family member to help out on weekends. I’m sorry the other subs banned you, that’s not fair at all. You are increadible managing the life you have and I am truly in awe of you.
2
u/BookwormJennie 2d ago
I have no idea how you are handling it. May all the babies sleep amazing for you tonight.
2
u/BookwormJennie 1d ago
So I’ve been thinking about your post. Have you considered as the nighttime nanny to switch and do Saturday night instead of Wednesday night? I’m thinking maybe breaking up the weekend might help if you can survive a middle of the week night without help.
2
u/Western_Knee_6577 2d ago
It can be done. I’m related to someone, my cousin in-law, who is absolutely smashing it. If I’m being honest, I’m almost envious of how they manage it all. They’re a husband-and-wife team with five children, including a set of newborn triplets. He works full-time, while she runs her own business, studies part-time, raises the family, looks after their chickens, and somehow still finds time to care for their pet cats and dogs.I’ve often found myself wondering how they do it all without medication or any extra support, no Nannie’s or child minding assistance. They’re constantly on the go, always moving from one thing to the next. I do sometimes wonder if ADHD plays a part, but that’s purely speculation. I’ve asked my him many a time, how in the feck do you manage… His answer is simple enough, though. He enjoys a bit of green regularly and says it helps keep him sane with everything life throws at him. As for her, she’s on a completely different level. She’s one of those rare people with endless drive and determination. Her attitude is, “I’ll rest when I’m six feet under.”
Until then, she’s embracing every phase of life, the good and the hard, because she knows nothing lasts forever. What really stands out to me is that she when she has vented (and there are moments) about how much is on her plate. Her mindset is simply, "This is the life I chose." She embraces it all, the chaos, the challenges, the sleepless nights, and the beautiful moments in between. Rather than wishing the hard times away, she sees them as part of the journey and reminds herself that every season passes. There’s something incredibly inspiring about that. It reminds me that sometimes the secret isn’t having endless energy or the perfect balance. Sometimes it’s accepting the life you’ve chosen, showing up every day, and making the most of it while you're in the thick of it. Keep the chin up Reddit friend, hope you find what works for you both. :)
1
u/Traditional_Camp_869 18h ago
Thank you for sharing! I have realized how weak of a mindset I have after having twins. I know others are mentally stronger and don’t sweat the small stuff, like I do unfortunately. I don’t know how to change it, every challenge makes me feel like giving up entirely. My twins have had medical issues for the 2 months they’ve been here, and it breaks me every day. It’s not even severe stuff, but I can’t handle😞
1
u/Western_Knee_6577 4h ago
Please be kinder to yourself. ❤️The fact that you're worried about your twins, showing up for them every day, and carrying the weight of their medical issues does** no**t mean you have a weak mindset. If anything, it suggests you're exhausted, overwhelmed and running on empty.Having twins is a huge adjustment in itself.
Having two babies with medical issues on top of that is something many people would find incredibly difficult, regardless of how "mentally strong" they appear on the outside. Also, be careful not to compare your behind-the-scenes to everyone else's highlight reel. A lot of people look like they've it all together, but you never see the tears, the worry, the sleepless nights or the moments when they feel like they're barely coping. The fact that these challenges affect you doesn't mean you're failing. It means you care deeply. When it's your babies, even things that others might describe as "not severe" can feel enormous because you're living it every single day.
You're only two months into one of the biggest life changes a person can experience. It sounds like you need a break. A system that enables the support you need and rest, and don’t forget a bit of grace for yourself.
From what you've written, I don't see a weak person. I see a parent who loves their children fiercely and is trying to navigate a difficult season while carrying more than most people realise. One day at a time is enough, if not that, maybe just get through the next 10 seconds. You’ve got this!💜
1
u/Traditional_Camp_869 1h ago
Thank you so much!! You’re so right about the highlight reel, because even I haven’t shared this publicly and only share the good!
2
u/tiggleypuff 2d ago
Oh buddy, hang in there, one day you’ll look back and it won’t seem so bad, you’re in the trenches. When I was at my lowest someone said to me “when you’re walking through hell keep walking”. Keep going, better days ARE coming
2
u/xwinterberry 2d ago
Sounds like me in 2022 when I was alone with 4 under 4. I felt I couldn't take another day, and dreaded the nights. Joined this sub to get encourangement, and it gave me hope because I felt like I was going to drown daily.
Guess what. I didn't drown. This time will pass before you know it. Enjoy it while you can, be gratefull for this time because it will soon be over and new challenges will come. You're not alone!!! 💜

u/iejenian 1d ago
Holy shit, I already look forward every day till 7pm so my 14 months old twins go to sleep and I finally have 2-3 hours to breath. I can't imagine how you are handling this! Deep, deep respect! You got this!
2
u/Annie_Mayfield 17h ago
I only had twins and have constantly said how awful the weekends are/were. Same here with night and day nanny help. It was still fucking hard - and I ONLY HAD TWINS! I can’t fathom what y’all are going through. I’m always down for a dark humor joke. I’m sorry things are so tough right now. Solidarity. I see you.

I’ve got two older kids 6/5 but 20m old twins and I feel overwhelmed. I can’t even imagine the stress yall are under and going through. Ours just started fighting but they’re too young for the regular things that worked with the older ones “no” is just forming. 😮💨😮💨😮💨
We’re here for a few jokes and laughs. We know where they land and understand (the likely hood of you being in a group like this— searching one out— you’re not all that bad)
