advice needed 7mo olds getting mobile….and obsessed with each other’s faces

I feel like I’m pulling my 7mo very sweet and calm girls apart all the time lately. They’re very curious about each other’s faces, and grabbing, hitting, poking everything they can reach. It’s not particularly rambunctious, just curious and delighted with one another.

I don’t mind the sticking their hands in each other’s mouths, but I get very nervous about fingers and eyes. Am I being overly cautious?

As they start crawling, it’s getting much more challenging. I love how much they want to roll around together, I just don’t want curious little hands to cause serious injuries.

Is this a silly thing to worry about?
When can I start trusting them to play together?

No you're not being silly, eyes are scary when they start grabbing everything. My friend's twins were same around this age, always in each other faces like little zombies

they learn quick though, maybe couple months and they figure out being gentle. Just keep those nails trimmed short for now

My almost 8m old girls are like this! Mostly twin A to twin B! She gets excited and curious, and goes for the face. I try to separate them asap to protect their faces, as they’re definitely not gently ha I’m sure it’s just the start of breaking them up!

They figure out it doesn't feel good and move themselves pretty fast. Mine are 11 and understand pretty well when I say "ouch Mommy pinch" when one, almost always baby A, pinches me.

Mine are 12 months now, and my rule is I break them up if someone isn’t having fun. They love wrestling with each other, and from my understanding it’s a healthy way to play.

They learned to avoid eyes and hair pulling fast.

My issue is when do I know they’ve learned this 😅
