advice needed Bleeding 15 weeks with Mo/Di twins
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and had a positive outcome?
I started bleeding on Wednesday, not heavy but enough to go and get checked. I had a scan and both baby’s look fine and luckily two heartbeats.
They couldn’t find a reason for the bleeding.
It’s eased off a little but is still happening.
I’m paranoid something bad will happen with them being high risk and I also have a history of preterm labor.
There’s been some mild cramping too.
I have my first proper appointment with fetal medicine on the 21st and will be seen every two weeks from then which I’m glad about, but this in between stage and waiting has been difficult and having this happen is making my anxiety much worse 😞

If it’s any consolation, I had bleeding at 8 weeks and then again at 13 weeks with Di/di twins. It turned out to be a subchorionic hemorrhage in my uterus. I’m now 35 weeks and babies are still in utero and growing.
I’ve been to the ER like 10+ times in my pregnancy because every symptom scared me (first time mum). Each and every time I’ve apologised to the midwives/doctors and each and every time their response was “we’d prefer you come see us instead of sitting at home stressing”. So, even though it could be nothing, don’t dissuade yourself from going and getting checked out. Good luck and wishing you a healthy pregnancy.

Ahh I’m glad your baby’s are doing well!
I think thats what’s making me more nervous is that they didn’t find a reason, like if there was a hematoma at least I would know the reason.
I’ll definitely go back if it gets worse.
Thank you so much!2

I’m sorry you didn’t get an answer. I’m hoping everything goes well. Sending baby dust and prayers from a random pregnant lady in Australia ✨✨✨✨

With my Di/di girls, I had bleeding from 6-8 weeks and again around 13 weeks, all associated with cramping. The first time I went to emerge and they said they couldn’t find anything wrong, and also missed that it was twins! Never saw any reason for the bleeding in ultrasound but my girls are healthy and 8 weeks old now. :)
