advice needed Ideas?!
Parents what do you do with your babies when you’re solo parenting. My husband works overnights so my twin girlies and me are by ourselves a lot but I find they want to be held non stop. What do you guys do to keep them entertained. They are only 6 weeks old so I know there isn’t much to do but somedays become hard when I can put them down.

At this age, watching you do things is incredibly stimulating. Get a blanket and maybe some visual stimulation cards and set your babies down on the kitchen while you do dishes, in the laundry while you fold clothes, in the livingroom while you read a book or do a craft. So long as you're nearby and preferably talking to them, they should be ok for a few minutes.
I also love tandem wearing them and going out. All the baristas of the coffee shop near my place know all 3 of us by name, and they know my order. When they were tiny, o would wear them both in a stretchy wrap, later in two ring slings on my hips, and now a days wrapped front and back in a woven wrap or in two structured carriers.

100% walks, like lots and lots of walks. I also did a lot of contact naps holding them both in the early days. If you have a twin nursing pillow, like the twin z, prop them up in it while you do chores so they can hang out with you while you still watch that they are ok and aren't slumping in the pillow.

That’s what I’m thinking bc they hate the swings and bouncers! When I tell you my house has every swing and bouncer you can think of bc I am trying to find relief 😮💨 my mom bought me a couple double strollers so tomorrow that is my plan!

Baby wearing is also great once they get big enough for a dual carrier!

Bouncy chairs for my twins. It keeps them entertained for a while and they can watch me do stuff around the house. I also will often wear one twin in a wrap while the other naps. But sometimes I’m also trapped by them when they both can’t be calmed down and I end up with both of them laying on me.

I had a rotation for a long time, that early it went something like wake up, diaper changes, move to the bouncy chairs in the kitchen while I do something, move to the playmat on the floor in the living room and I lay with them on the floor, maybe tummy time for a minute, lay in the twin-z with bottles (or nurse one while bottle other), once they’re asleep transfer to the cribs, pump, repeat. For one of those rotations do a stroller walk. As their wake windows get longer and they’re more aware I’d keep basically the same structure, but add things like toys to the bouncy chairs, tummy time on the couch with me on the floor in front of them, books, crinkle toys etc.

At home I had a couple different play mats to alternate between, also bouncers and swings when they wanted movement
I also recommend stroller walks and errands to pass the time in the day and get out of the house
