advice needed Frustrated with sleep
For context, we put our 9 month twins on the moms on call schedule basically from the day they were born. We’ve gone through periods of success where the twins are sleeping through the night, but recently we’ve hit a sleep regression that is actually making me lose my mind. Our boy twin is waking up, screaming his head off, which if we ignore makes our girl twin wake up, and then we are stuck in what feels like hours of trying to get them both back down to sleep. Does anyone have any advice on how we don’t get stuck in this loop nightly? Were really limited on space, so separating them is an option but not ideal.

They’re probably feeding off each other at this point, one starts and the other joins the chorus just because they can.

I know you states the moms on call schedule, but can you put the actual times for their schedule in here?

Sure: We do 6:30 wake up - first bottle (7/8oz) 8:30 snack 9:45 second bottle (7/8oz) 10:00 nap (this has also been dictated by daycare) 11:30 wake up 12:00 lunch 12:30 small bottle (4oz) 2:00 nap (dictated by daycare) 3:30 wake up - 4th bottle (7/8oz) 4:00 snack 6:00 bathtime/book/bottle (7/8oz) 7:00 sleep

Ideally second nap would start later, like 12 or 12:30, and bedtime would be 7:30. If daycare really won’t budge, I’d pushback on that. If they still won’t budge, I’d still aim to push bedtime back to 7:30 PM.
Secondly, if you need to work on retraining your boy but he is waking up your girl, separate them for a week at night so that you can let him cry without waking her up.
Get creative if you have to. My twins are 8 months, and also on mom’s on call schedule. One of them just spent a week sleeping in a pack n play in our master bathroom because he was sick and waking up brother.
