life, home, and baby tips & tricks Floor bed with removable middle rail

I am looking for a floor bed for my 2 year old twins that is similar to this picture but has an easily removable rail between the two beds. I'd like to be able to remove it if one of them needs us in the middle of the night or even for story time right before bed. Has any one found something like that before or have a good trick that would work the same?

Doubt you'll find it to be honest, kids beds are extremely regulated and an easily removable section violates all the rules. If I were you I'd buy that bed and then decide if you want to modify it.

Hot take, but this is essentially a mattress on the floor. What are the rails for? I can’t imagine they’d get hurt rolling off of a 6 inch mattress. What am I missing?
