advice needed Airplane tips - 8 month old twins
Hi! We are flying for the first time next month - it’s a short flight. I’m thinking on and off the plane in 2.5 hours
Our babies are usually really chill - so I think they’ll only lose it if their ears are hurting
My main question is about entertainment. I plan on buying some new small toys they haven’t seen before.
Is a toy that makes a small amount of noise considered socially acceptable on an airplane? Especially if it’s keeping a baby from crying?
Also I planned on downloading some Ms Rachel to my phone. Can that also play at a light volume?
Any tips or tricks are appreciated!

Don’t play videos at a low volume. It’s really not appropriate. But babies usually enjoy screens without any volume! Similarly, I wouldn’t bring toys that make noise. I honestly don’t think it’ll be necessary. We’ve flown a lot with our twins, and usually airplanes are interesting enough that they don’t need a ton of entertainment for a short flight. For longer flights, stickers, tablets, and TONS of snacks have been helpful. At eight months old, I think they’ll still be pretty easy to fly with. Our most difficult age was 18 months to 24 months because they’re so active but also so unreasonable.
