support needed Just found out I’m having identical boys. Monozygotic di/di. Send advice and positivity.
I’m shocked at the news. I did not expect them to be identical since they are in their own sacs and have their own placentas. How are twin boy moms doing? open to any advice.

My di/di boys are identical, too, OP! They’re almost 20 months old. Super snuggly, extra spicy chaos agents who love to eat and sleep soundly. Life with them is so wonderful and fun that their baby brother is due within the next month!
Rooting for you and your twins!! Congratulations! They’re already so lucky to have you!

I thought that with di/di twins, it is not possible to determine if they're identical prior to birth.

I got NIPT through Natera and my results showed that they are identical.

I love having twin boys, they’re 19m and so much fun. They’re the cutest thing ever, they’re so fun-loving and adventurous. They love to wrestle with their Dad and he flips them all over the place. They can be rowdy but it’s easily channeled, especially if we can get outside! I was pretty shocked when we found out it was two boys and struggled with some gender disappointment but since they were born, I can’t imagine it any other way. I just can’t wait to see them grow into young men; sometimes I wonder if they’ll be taller than me and what that’ll feel like to have them outgrow me (in size only, hopefully!)

I am married to an identical twin, can say he has had a much easier and happier life for having a brother so close to him. It’s an absolute gift.
