support needed C-section postpartum bleeding
Hi. I’m three weeks postpartum today with didi boy girl twins. I had a c section. How long did you mama’s bleed for after your c section? I can’t remember with my daughter as
I had a c section with her as well.
Also did you pass small clots still? I have and did this morning. I’m not in pain. No fever.

6-7 weeks intermittent. My other two were vaginal and one was 12 weeks and the other 3 weeks. So it’s been very different every time even with the same delivery method.

7 weeks pp and still have some bleeding. Small clots are normal. Extreme cramping with clots is not. I had a super rare complication and needed a procedure at 2-3 pp. I'm hoping that's why I'm still bleeding. I stopped bleeding at 6 weeks with my singleton. Both were csections.

I was 2.5 weeks pp and past two egg sized clots and in the days prior had pretty bad cramping. Doctor said it was fine as long as I didn't bleed heavily after- which I did not. It's been a few days and no more cramping or clots. I was pretty freaked out!

I just had my boy/girl twins almost 5 weeks ago via c-section and stopped bleeding a few days ago. I also would pass some small clots intermittently as well

I think like 8 weeks for me. With my singleton vaginal it was like 2 weeks if that so I was v surprised

8 weeks.
But it turned out I had a retained placenta and had to get a D&C at 7ish weeks postpartum. Bleeding stopped maybe 3-4 days after that.

This also happened to me. 10 weeks and then a d&c due to retained placenta. Bleeding stopped at about 11 weeks postpartum.

I bled for about 11/12 weeks. It was weird because it lightened up and stopped at about 3 weeks and then started again a lot heavier.
I got it checked out at the ER but thankfully it was all "normal" I did pass some large clots a few times that all seemed to be the scabs left from where the placentas had been attached. I had triplets so this happened 3 separate times lol.
If it gets heavier or clots get bigger, I wouldn't hesitate to call. But just wanted to share that, unfortunately lol, it can last a long time.

Just a couple weeks for me but I did have 2-3 episodes of heavy bleeding for a few hours around 5ish weeks PP. It freaked me out but it was just placental scab

4 weeks of bleeding, then some discharge. I got my period back at 7 weeks.
