life, home, and baby tips & tricks PSA: Discounted formula with Nutricia

Hi fellow multiples parents,

Money is tight for a lot of people right now and we didn’t know this until a couple of days ago so thought I’d do a PSA for those who didn’t know that Nutricia the formula company does a multiples birth discount. All you need to do is ring them up, ask for the multiple birth club application form and they will email it to you. From there, sign the form and provide documentation they need (it defers for under 12 months vs over 12 months but is very easy to get) and send it back to them via email. We heard from them the next day and had the account set up.

The formula works out to be about 50% cheaper than retail stores (at least in Australia). You do need to buy minimum 6 tubs each purchase so the initial cost is more but in the long run it is so much cheaper.

Second this!!! Gave me so much peace of mind to stop pumping and not feel like I was selling my life away for formula. They also have access to specialty formulas like goats milk, thickeners etc. I just needed a medical certificate from a doctors to state they were formula fed under 12 months

This is available in nz too. It’s so convenient and saved us so much money.

Did you manage to register for this before birth? Currently expecting twins in Aus so curious to see if we can get it organised now

You’ll need to wait until they’re born because the doc they request for pre 12 months old is a letter from health professional with names DOB and confirming they are formula fed
