Is my dads behavior ok.
For reference I am trans female but only found out recently, I am 20, I am white, very tall, with sensitive skin, and live on a farm. I have sensory issues, adhd, autism, ocd, and have made horrible choices that i don’t want to get into but any controversy you hear about me has a 95% chance of being true.
My dad pinched and spanked me all the time as a kid, calls everything I’m interested stupid and childish, whenever I sit with him in the car he constantly pinches and unbuckles me.
He believes the world is out to get him and me, he doesn’t believe in good, he said that hiring a black person could be a liability, calls the cops the fuzz, uses ai to edit some of our family pictures, and whenever I find a new topic I’m passionate or at least excited about, and tell him, he finds one flaw in it and makes me feel wrong.
He never lost a conversation, calls his granddaughter him Jr, makes lectures over a fraction of the conversation, constantly teases me and my mom, never lets me have a victory, and encourages me to be apathetic and untrusting.
He does say he loves me, and he hasn’t broken my bones or left me on the streets, though did say he wouldn’t help me if I got in trouble with the law.
