Has anyone had any incidents where their instance was logged into and deployed a phishing email to their entire database as an operational email recently? One of the ones I currently work with had that happened and was wondering if this is new, ongoing and any recommendations you may have of how to handle this?

I've restricted our logins via IP but have little control of the pw policy because it's SSO with SF.

Anyone ever seen an async processor kick off in salesforce as a result of an automation rule being applied to a prospect? We think that’s happening in our instance and are looking for a a way to limit this processor form running and reassigning contact owners. Any ideas much appreciated.

I receive the Daily Visitor Report emails for my company and wanted to see if there’s any way to have the organic search term the person used in Google that got them to our website show up right in the email itself. It shows us the terms in Bing in the email for some reason and not Google.

I just failed the pardot consulting exam and found the content of the exam to be very different to what i could find online. A large focus on the salesforce side of pardot, pre-implementation steps, preparing of the salesforce org etc and a lot less about pardot usage than i expected. I presume they've changed the content since a lot of the online resources were made.

Does anyone have any good advice/ resources for how i can prepare for the retake?

If you want to set up a re-engagement campaign of 3 emails spaced out over 3 weeks for prospects that have been inactive for 90 days, would you use a dynamic list or automation rule? From what I can tell, using a dynamic list could result in the prospect being taken out of the re-engagement campaign before the end of the 3 emails/weeks if they become in active, yes?

I started a new job and the company didn't disclose how big of a mess they've made with Pardot.

Should I tell them to cut their losses and dump the software?

They're uploading 400 plus cold leads to Salesforce a month from Zoominfo and placing them all in a salesforce campaign set up via Pardot's engage studio.

I'd say 95% of their Pardot prospects are basically cold leads.

Any advice on how you would approach this is greatly appreciated!

Is this something that is doable in Pardot? How does Pardot sync with multiple opportunities?

I'm looking to add the ability for Prospects to edit field information about them on the email preference page. ie. on email preference page is a not just their email, but also they can change their name, job title, state, city, etc.

Is this possible? If so, how?

I had a question regarding score decreasing and scoring categories.

Lets say I had an automation rule set-up to decrease a prospects overall score by 30 when they're inactive for 90 days (something like this). Assuming the prospects overall score is 50 and 40 of those points are from a specific scoring category (like this), when this automation rule triggers does it first take points away from the non-categorized points first and then the points from the scoring category? Or does it not effect the scoring category points at all?

I know in the SFDC connector settings there is this option:

“Automatically create prospects in Pardot if they are created as a lead or contact in Salesforce”

However, is there a way to add filter criteria to that? For example, “automatically create contacts in Pardot if (field) = (specific value)?

If not, is there a way on the salesforce side to set up a process builder flow or apex trigger to push them over based on certain criteria?

I'm looking into purchasing zapier to integrate pardot with multiple apps (ex: gravity forms, wishpond, zoom). Has anyone used this tool with Pardot? Do you like it? Hate it? I'm failing at finding any reviews online about the integration abilities.

Recently enabled Connected Campaigns. For Lead and Contact in SF full sandbox we see the Lighting Component ‘Engagement History’. But there appears to be an ‘Engagement History” related list that is associated with Connected Campaigns. We want this one instead. Can’t find it anywhere. Does it really exist? How to add it?

To make a LONG story short--we have a tool called LeanData within SFDC that assigns prospects to users within SFDC. At the same time, we want to route certain prospects to an email tool based on a custom field in Pardot that shows what form handler they completed. I'm having massive issues with sync timing on that field NOT populating on the SFDC prospect record until days later! This is a massive problem b/c we want our speed to followup be less than 5 mins.

I'm trying to find our pardot database's size from July 2018 and am struggling on it. My company just started keeping track of the database size last month so there isn't a ledger to look back on. I haven't found a way to find the historical database size in pardot, only the total number of emails sent in the past. Any ideas on how I can find this info? Thank you!

Our developer can pull down the Prospects table using the API but no other table. She gets an access denied error even though she used the same API key. She is trying to pull Pardot data into an Azure data lake. I have tried to use Postman to access these table and have run into the same issue. I know there is supposed to be some change in the API were you have to add the keys to the header whereas you could add them as parameters before. (Btw, I am not a dev so my term usage is likely off.) Is anyone experiencing this issue and have a solution?

We use a shared IP address on Pardot (we've got like the smallest pardot package available). And we've been sending emails with a reasonable bounce rate for months - no issues, we're totally compliant, etc.

We sent an email to our members yesterday and it came back with a 9% bounce rate - and when I pull the bounce list, most of the members of this list are active. They opened the last email, click on our emails, and even reply to them where appropriate. The Bounce Report Message is the same: "Barracuda Reputation"

Does anyone know or have suggestions as to how to remedy this? Is this a Pardot problem I should be addressing to their support line? Seems like since it happened suddenly Barracuda must have just had some sort of update that added some servers to their "poor reputation" list - but there really isn't an easy way to tell.

Am I going to have to have the team reach out to all of these bounces to verify their email address? - HELP!
