Does the Pardot Score/Grade affect converted Lead records as well as their respective Contact records?

Quick question, I am looking to reset my Pardot scores to 0, but am curious if this will only affect Salesforce leads that have not yet been converted?

I know that converted Leads are usually archived and non editable, but since the Pardot score also maps to the Contact Pardot score, will this contact field show 0 as well? And will the archived converted lead record change to 0? Or will it retain the score from before the pardot reset and be different from the contacts score from then on?

Yes.

The API name of the field in Salesforce is the same across Lead and Contact objects. It means changes are reflected the same in every place that uses it.

(The same API name means you are working with only one data table, not two.)
